Boutique

Wir hatten ein privates Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad.
Es war herrlich, das Bett war wirklich bequem und das Personal war äußerst hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Die Einrichtung dieses Ortes war wunderschön und ich fühlte mich eher wie in einem Boutique-Hotel als in einem Hostel. Die Lage war perfekt und ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Small, caring and flirty

The location is good, it is in the historic center and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The building is beautiful and has a very careful and attractive decoration. As we stayed on a Thursday in October, we were given a junior suit with balcony to the street in the room and bathroom. We really liked it. We also liked the mattress and pillows. The attention from Vicki was great, nice and eager to help. The only but they do not give breakfasts, otherwise, highly recommended.

LITTLE EMPATHY

We had the reservation made for March 8 through booking and we are from the Region of Murcia and as many of you will have seen in the news the heavy rainfall we had all week, roads cut, etc... and seeing the forecast for Calpe we were also a fairly high percentage for that day. We tried to change the date for those reasons that we believe were more than sufficient even if we were for one day outside the cancellation date. Booking at no time put sticks on us as long as the hotel consented and there were other dates available to make change and we thought it would not be a problem since on the booking page there were quite a few available dates and we also indicated that if any supplement had to be paid there was no problem, what was our surprise when the owner, manager or whatever of the hotel a Thomas flatly refuses to change us date, he did not give us any option, even told us that there was hardly any forecast of rain.
We went, it is true that the road was fine and we had no problem and we informed ourselves before leaving.
And now we go to the hotel conditions, forget to park nearby, super small room, the bathroom if you can call it that is not bigger than that of an airplane or train, the sink is so small that if you want to wash your hands you have to do it one at a time and for the teeth I don't even tell you, the shower that if you can't call shower we get wetter with what rained in the afternoon because indeed it rained, the mattress totally sunken in the center, super uncomfortable.
To have a business little favor does the town, as I say it was all afternoon raining and in the old town that is beautiful they had to collect all the terraces.
I love Calpe, I go a lot and I will continue to go and obviously not to that place but I hope it will serve other travelers and not spoil their stay.

I'll be back for sure.

All excellent at an unbeatable price. The design is great the staff super attentive. to the comfortable and practical room. The location in the old town allows you to be in a different setting from the typical beach and dine the restaurants with their terraces in the street. The sea in five minutes walk you have.

Hostel is in the middle of the old town. There are lots restaurants about and some really nice local ones.
There are alot of hill to go up to the hostel. And it is about half hr up hill walk from the beach.
I was a solo female and feel safe walking to the hostel at night.
The hostel is nicely decorated with a communal area. I had a good size room, private bathroom with double bed. Room was nice and clean.
Would have been nice to have a mini fridge other than that. Nice place to stay if you want to be in the old town
