Food okish, staff disgraceful

Late Sunday lunch.
Food was ok, a bit cool.
Service okish.
However, the young girls (staff)collected around the till, giggling and flirting with male staff, were loud, off putting and very unprofessional. The manager challenged them twice, but once he was busy again, they flicked back and continued their antics.
Very off putting.
Couldn't wait to leave

Not Good

I've been going to toby carvery since they opened here. This was not a good experience, vegetables only warm, no parsnips ready. Staff need retraining, didn't even ask us what we wanted from the menu or carvery ( so we just went up to the Carvery ), plus they were chatting and laughing. Over priced for what it was and not a good experience.

Awful

Rude staff didn’t even bother to come and seat us so we left there immediately. And the meats are cold, we loved to go there but they have lost some very loyal customers it was an appalling experience and I wish that they would acknowledge us and just say ‘ one second someone will be with you’

Bar/restaurant staff dismal. Food lovely

Food was delicious and the chef/cooks on the carvery line were lovely. But the staff around the bar/restaurant were terrible. Barely a smile between and constantly ignored by our “server”
The member of staff who brought our desserts didn’t even acknowledge us at all.

Rubbish service

I visited the Toby carvery in Willerby, Hull,and came away very disappointed with the lack of service I received, I was only a few minutes late and had to wait a while before anyone came to reception, they told me to wait till the table was ready and yo go to the bar to get a drink, I waited about 10 minutes, waiting to be served but before I was I was called to my table and asked what drink I would like, so gave them my order, so went to get a carvery, at about 7 :30 on a Sunday evening there was only pork left,but I managed to get some of the last of the beef,when to my table ate my meal, no one came with my drink or even to ask if everything is OK,no one,could not leave me meal unattended as I was on my own and it could be taken away thinking I had left ,so I went and paid ,and they charged full price would not nock any money off for the total lack of service.So to go to a pub and not managed to get a drink is so bad ,been here many times on a week day and it has been fine ,but to be charged £5 or £6 extra on a Sunday for no service is really bad I will avoid here on Sundays, it really spoilt my meal,
