WARNNG! Central Plaza is not a hotel but a cover up for a b without &b. There is a sign next to a door to an anonymous building at the adress shown at the Hotels.com-page, but we were sent to another adress outside the pedestrian zone. There we found a residential building with signs for several different b&b-enterprises, unclear which one we stayed at. The room was worn, not in the building photographed for the home-page, but OK, fairly clean and with a/c and toilet paper as the only conveniences. The furniture, fittings and textiles were in bad shape and the only closed door had no real lock. Most of the time it was open for anyone with a suitable piece of steel wire to walk straight in. In the morning we were given tickets for a breakfast at McDonalds (!!). We decided to check-out two days in advance without refund, with only a small compensation directly from Hotels.com.

An experience far below expectations

The stay has been quite disappointing, and honestly, we would not return. From the beginning, there was a lot of disorganization: we were told that payment would be made upon arrival, but days before they were already trying to charge the full amount to the card multiple times, which did not match the information on Booking.
The accommodation conditions were also not good: we found torn sheets, the shower and the floor did not feel clean, and we ran out of toilet paper without anyone replacing it.
The worst part was encountering cockroaches during our stay, having to kill several of them. Overall, a rather careless experience and very far from what we expected.

Reservation cancelled

I booked with booking early August for September 13, overnight stay, 4 people on piano city lecce.
I updated the credit card, as requested by email and called the property where they confirmed the reservation and I proposed to make the payment immediately but I was told that there was no need and that I would pay in the structure, I should contact them only if booking had sent me other emails, but this did not happen.On 11.09 I called the property to have directions on parking in the area and, after confirming the reservation again (!) they informed me that they would send me a message with directions.
In the night between 12 and 13 I receive an email cancellation!
I call the hotel and they tell me that booking has cancelled the reservation and they have already occupied the quadruple while we did well 180 km about!
I pointed out that I had been assured and guaranteed the reservation and booking could not cancel it as the card had been registered correctly.
The lack of professionalism is remarkable!
With an event going on in Lecce, finding a place for 4 people, including 1 boy and 1 child (!) was not easy.
I'm sorry but these are the sad realities that accompany us and that should not be there and, therefore, it becomes necessary to educate future, possible, patrons of the structure.
We have not tried the facility but our experience is bad.

Cancelled with just two days notice, avoid like the plague!

They just cancelled with a few days notice and no reason via our hotels.com booking we made 5 months ago, now I need to see about getting my money back. I have booked hundreds of hotels and never ever had this happen. Thankfully it looks like we dodged a bullet with all these horrible reviews. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

They're crooks, they cancel your reservation two days before saying the card is valid

They cancel the reservation two days before saying that the card is valid, while instead I think they resell the room at a higher price, I also reported them on Expedia, hoping that no one else will happen the same thing
