Visitors have a chance to explore the characteristics which still preserve Madeira's uniqueness and authenticity - the high mountains and the deep blue sea. This rural tourism resort, classified as 'Casas de Campo' (country house), has been established within the grounds of a private farm, in perfect harmony with nature. There is parking available for those arriving by car.The accommodation is comprised of 'stilt cabins' (referred to as bungalows or mountain shelters), with a woody, rustic feel. They all feature simple decor and come with a basic kitchenette and a compact bathroom with a small shower. They are all furnished in natural colours and have pine walls and floors. These 'cabins' are a cross between a shed, a mountain lodge and a tree house and have steep steps leading up to the bedrooms.
