Motel Mug Madness
Motel Mug Madness ......
PHOTOS show They should be focused on CLEANING basic cleaning and NOT harassing, committing defamation and calling Police over Mug that was Returned to Restaurant without any argument or incident.
The staff offended, harassed and verbally assaulted a Guest who had been there 3 nights and many times....over a Coffee Mug.
This Property started off by failing to check AC Filters and dust and damp mop as I requested for my Severe Allergies and Asthma. I had just been released from the Hospital due to Lung Inflammation and severe allergies.
The AC filters in the extremely dated room were filthy and had not been cleaned in many months.
The NO smoking room reeked of Smoke and you could smell smoke coming out of several rooms on the way to and from the room.
The room was very dusty and dirty with many stains.
It was musty with mold and mildew smells.
The Housekeeping Supervisor Amanda apologized many times.
GM Chris said "the filters are supposed to be checked and cleaned DAILY"
They moved me to a recently renovated Room with No carpet and vinyl in the bed area and ceramic tiles in the bathroom.
It was clean but the floors were dusty and had a lot of trash they swept up and then damp moped per my request.
The filters needed to be rinsed in this room as well but were not clogged and filthy.
They left construction debris in the room and a long cable in front of the connecting Door which is a hazard with small children. It should be tacked down or removed and not left just laying on the floor of the room.
I settled in and tried to relax to heal.
Most of the Staff were friendly.
Amanda at the front desk is excellent and should be one of the Managers.
The adjoining Restaurant which has very mixed and negative Reviews was ok and not better than most Hotel Buffets.
However, the 2 servers have bad attitudes and do not Seat as sign says or wait on most tables.
The Manager and Owner told me Melissa is on her "last straw" .........
Melissa followed me out of the Restaurant with Mug I had asked the OWNER and Manager if OK to take to Room along with Plate, Fork, Knife, spoon and real glass.
Melissa who failed to Serve or Refill startled me by rushing up behind me to be confrontational, abrasive and disrespectful about the cup.
I did not argue or raise MY voice as Melissa did....I walked back into the Restaurant and sat the cup back on the Hostess Stand and went to my room.
I later asked to speak to the Owner/Manager Austin who apologized and asked to make it up to me as he agreed that Melissa should NOT have followed me or disrespected Guest over a coffee mug.
The morning, Sandra was the server and she came over with bad attitude and was grumpy and seemed to only want to wait on Men that she actually sat DOWN at their table to talk instead of waiting on Tables. Melissa watched TV and left restaurant instead of attending the Tables and giving Refills.
The potatoes were hard and cold. The eggs were over cooked, burnt and had black grease from uncleaned grill or pan in the eggs.
Several guests said the potatoes were not hard and cold.
The 2 servers got angry and defensive over the under and over cooked food that was not at the Proper Serving Temperatures.
I went up to get My Refill again and Sandra yelled across the Restaurant that I could NOT take the coffee Mug.
I told Sandra I was getting a REFILL
Sandra apologized twice but then acted even worse.
I took 2 sips and put that precious $1 mug back on the table and left.
Sandra like Melissa, left her Job to follow me and stare.
The front desk clerk asked "what is your room number"
I told her and left....
Moments later, there was a loud bang on the door........
2 police officers were there saying I had to leave because I said I would use pepper spray.
I did NOT Say that and do not have or ever use Pepper Spray.
That is a lie of disgruntled, vindictive and revengeful miserable Staff
It is against the Law to Lie to Police and file a False Police Report!
it is defamation and slander to LIE about a person and their words or behavior.
They then called 3 area hotels to lie and say do not "rent room" to her
One GM of Best Hotel in area told me and said WE do not do that or treat Guests like that.
I have stayed there many times with NO issues and stayed there again after this Motel lied and mistreated me over a Coffee Mug.
This is unprofessional, inappropriate, offensive and insulting Business Behavior from Days Inn and Pepper's Grill
I have noticed Wyndham who says they take this very seriously
I am also long time Guests and Diamond and Platinum
1st time in My Life that I had Police called on Me to LIE about me. I did NOT have pepper spray and did NOT say I would use pepper spray. I never have! These employees LIED out of Revenge and Vindictiveness because I told the Owner of the Restaurant the server Melissa followed me Out of the Restaurant and was confrontational over a Coffee Cup I was told my 2 employees that I could take to room. I immediately sat the cup down and left. I talked to owner and he said Melissa was on her last straw. He apologized and offered me free meal. The next day, another employee assumed I was leaving when I was getting refill. She apologized but acted weird so I drank few sips and left. Sandra was lurking and staring at me while I stopped again at Front desk. I had planned to return with $ to tip her but this was bizarre and creepy behavior. So, I left. Suddenly someone Pounded hard on door to falsely accuse me of "threat" and "pepper Spray" I said that it is not true. I was the one who was stunned by woman rushing up too close to me to demand the coffee cup. I felt unsafe as I have been assaulting from behind and side. I have post traumatic Stress and that caused me Trauma and increased my blood Pressure. This is defamation and slander. It is HORRIBLE to Lie to Police and treat a guest like this. The new renovated rooms are very nice and staff said they really liked me. Especially Amanda at front desk, Amanda and Holly in Housekeeping. GM was nice too. SO this is extremely disappointing, offensive and insulting to me as long time Guest and Customer of Brand AND Restaurant for over 20 years!!!!!
Melissa and Sandra and Front desk rude and hostile employee who lie and called Police should be FIRED and SUED for False Police Report
FIRED and SUED for False Police Report. That is Defamation and Slander and Emotional Damage. NO One called me about being falsely accused and kicked out. They OVER charged my card and did NOT allow me to stay until check out OR give me double points as I was signed up for. This is extremely offensive and insulting. I was treated like a Criminal and they then called 2 adjoining properties to say do NOT allow me to stay there and said I peed on something to get discount. That is ALSO untrue and disgusting. Holiday Inn Manager said they do NOT call and act like THAT. It is unprofessional and inappropriate. They other staff act friendly and professional. Especially Both named Amanda. This is a Violation of Me.
