Pousada incrível
Lugar aconchegante, atendimento excelente. Simplicidade, elegância, ótima localização, tudo organizado e limpo, cozinha bem equipada e tem uma cachoeira próxima ao local. Fomos muito bem recebidas, voltaremos sempre que possível. Equipe super atenciosa e disposta a ajudar com qualquer dúvida. Precisávamos ficar um pouco mais e o Dono foi super gentil e solicito sem cobrar nada. Café da manhã maravilhoso, simple e gostoso. O valor da diária faz jus a hospedagem, vale muito a pena.

Chapada dos Guimarães - Guesthouse
We had a very serious problem during our stay due to negligence on the part of the administration and the owner of the inn. We were threatened and embarrassed by other guests.
According to the inn's regulations, the use of sound devices outside the accommodation at any time is not permitted. However, we arrived from a tiring walk on Sunday afternoon and were faced with a very unpleasant situation. A group of around 20 people (including adults and children) reserved 5 chalets at the inn and made the environment an almost private place. It looked like a farm rented for weekends and not an inn. They took over the leisure areas and turned on music equipment at a very high volume, which made it impossible to even hear the TV inside the chalet. This bothered us a lot and when we went out to complain, the lady who manages the inn was already in front of the chalet talking to some people from that group. So I complained about the noise and the people at the party said they wouldn't stop the noise and started insulting and threatening us. One of the women in the group even said she would break my face if she didn't shut up. Anyway, cornered and to keep ourselves safe, we returned to the cabin. Then the group really started to provoke. They kept the music going and started shouting. Realizing that the group would continue with the party, the inn administrator, instead of enforcing the regulations, offered us a change of accommodation to one that was far from the leisure areas (cheaper accommodation and in the finishing phase). Afraid of the threats, we thought about leaving the inn and returning to Cuiabá early, as our flight would be the next day. But it was already dark and we looked at the maps application, which showed a lot of congestion on the highway, due to the blockages, accidents and high flow of vehicles. Therefore, we decided to accept the hosting change. Upon leaving the chalet with the suitcases, the group continued to threaten and make jokes.
Therefore, if anyone intends to stay at this inn looking for peace, know that they rent it to groups, who use the inn as if it were a private farm. These groups throw parties and misfortune guests who are there at the same time. The owner of the inn apparently just wants to know about the profit, as she was in the house at the back and did absolutely nothing. Five chalets yield more than one, so this leaves one unsatisfied, even though it is within its rights to have peace and quiet (registered in the inn's regulations).
We ended our stay scared and upset. A trip that had several positive points, in a place full of wonderful tours, ended disappointingly.
Now about the structure of the inn. The chalets are already old and in poor condition. Warped doors and windows, bathroom drain giving off a bad smell, among other things. Furthermore, we had a problem with ants, as there was an anthill inside the chalet. One good thing is that it has a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and utensils. The breakfast is simple and without variety (it was the same menu all 5 days we stayed), but it fed us well. About the staff at the inn, they were very friendly and helpful until the moment the problem with noise arose. Then, unfortunately, they disappointed us. The location is far from the city center. So for those without a car, it's not worth it.

A day isn't enough
Just a quick review while I enjoy my breakfast on the porch of my lovely little cabin outside the National Park at Chapada dos Guimaraes. I stumbled on this place by accident, as I was late making arrangements for my stay in the area. I thought I was paying a bit much for a room. What I got was a cabin with beds enough for 6, a full kitchen, AC etc. It's just 200 m off the main highway, 1 km from the charming little town centre and 10 km from the park entrance. The family that runs the spot is very, very nice and even though I don't speak Portuguese, we understood each other.
This was important when the glass cover on the stove shattered, leaving glass all over my cabin. You can stay in town, but why? Sleep with the chickens and the charm here

Good breakfast small room
This hotel is Ok, per 2 person room with AC they charge 120 real (60 USD) if to ask discount and 130 without discount, 100 real per room with fan and 90 real with discount. Pousada has Wi-Fi and good big breakfast, situated in center of small city Chapada dos Guimaraes. In next day we found, that in Pousada they have much biger rooms, probaly should ask at time of arrival in hotel. Pousada Rios offer directly big rooms with 2-3 beds, but that we were there, they had problem with Wi-Fi, it was not working. In hotel Rios rate is cheaper, and also try to bargain they are doing discounts.

Ponto a melhorar: serviço em geral . Jó momento do meu checkin, o instalador ficou dentro do quarto consertado a TV q não funcionava. Extremamente inconveniente, já que poderia ter sido feito antes.
Teve tb problemas no controle remoto do portão da garagem, outro ponto q poderia ter sido resolvido antes da minha chegada.
Localização: fraca, sem acesso à pé para nada, numa estrada de terra a 200m da estrada principal
