Fantastic first visit to Egypt.
We stayed in one of the self contained bungalows and although they are looking a little tired now, they are kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The hotel is gradually refurbishing these rooms and the finished ones look fantastic.
All the staff here are so friendly and polite. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and supplied bottled water and fresh towels.
The breakfast buffet at The Stiegenburger was excellent with so much choice.
The hotel is opposite the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids and both should not be missed.
Although just across the road its safer to get a taxi or guided tour. The traffic is phenomenal although we never saw a collision many cars are dented and carry the scars of many collisions .
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, as were all the people we met on our excursions that we would deffinitely visit again.

Excellent service
The hotel is beautiful and quiet, and the swimming pool is lovely and clean.
The staff are helpful, but the housekeeping team is hardworking and excellent, and they made me feel right at home.

Comfortable facilities.
Beautiful place, very good service. Steps from the pyramids. Pool for relaxation and rest. Very good and hospitable care. I recommend 100%.

Stay of one week
I have been travelling to this hotel for more than 10 years and have been completely satisfied so far. I can call myself a regular who has ALWAYS stayed at the hotel for a week.
The staff is still the same and I was warmly welcomed.
Unfortunately, however, a "restructuring" has taken place in the management area, which was merged with Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts.
They seem to have specialised or want to specialise in it, with only one or two nights left in the future.
Guests who stay a week are apparently no longer welcome. In any case, this impression has clearly arisen with me. Also, it does not seem to be welcome when there is a personal or friendly relationship with the staff.
This simply affects contact with people!
I think this was my last stay at this hotel.
The cleanliness, friendliness and food was as always to my satisfaction and outstanding.

Avoid ‘garden rooms’ at all costs!
We booked a ‘garden room’ via Booking.com. This is clearly stated as Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel - but on arrival it seems it’s not! There is a very 3 star at most hotel on the same site (previous Movienpick I believe) and that’s where our ‘garden room’ is. It is such a poor standard I can’t believe it’s being sold under the Steigenberger name!
