Small but modern hotel and very reasonably priced.
We were not disappointed on arrival. Despite the hotel being in a very run down and poverty stricken part of Giza, it is brand new and excellently presented with friendly staff on arrival.
The hotel is small and features a rooftop restaurant and pool with a small gym above that. That is all other than the rooms that are on the 7 or so floors below.
The restaurant is very reasonably priced and features tasty food. Breakfast is included and offers a continental range with fruit, yogurts, biscuits, meats and cheeses.
Lunch and dinner dishes can also be ordered and the couple of members of staff do their upmost to give a good experience. Their English is a little poor but this is not to their detriment.
The rooms themselves are lovely, clean, modern and full of the usual amenities including a safe and fridge. The jacuzzi suite in particular was very impressive with the views of the pyramids. The only small downside was the jacuzzi bath being very explosive and water spillages into the room and up the walls being a common occurrence when in use.
Overall, this is a lovely little hotel in close proximity to the pyramid at a very reasonable price.
