Excellent stay

Very good hotel, great rooms, wonderful view to the pyramids and the sphincter, on the entrance side d complex of Giza.

Excellent two night stay

We had an amazing stay here with our two children, 8 and 16. The staff are so accommodating, kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was nice and the rooftop views of the pyramids were excellent. The reception desk staff are very friendly. They allowed us to use a room to freshen up and rest before our checking in time as we had got there few hours before checking in. And the same with checking out. We definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Not what was expected.

Whereas the views of the Pyramids from this hotel were exceptional the hotel was not anything like the description given by Booking .com .To be fair to the hotel itself the staff were for the most part very good but the hotel was lacking the refinements described by the above . It said the room had a mini bar ,not true the hotel was alcohol free , satellite tv not so the tv did not work at all . The food was acceptable and as i have said the staff were helpful . But what was described as the luxury wing was sadly most definitely not the case .

BE CAREFUL.

The view of the Gaza plateau is exceptional from the rooftop.
- The proximity to the entrance to the Giza plateau is ultra convenient because 3 minutes walk to buy tickets and to control entry to the site. (For information, yellow, green and white buses are free throughout the Giseh plateau).
– The half-international half-Egyptian breakfast is perfectly correct in savory as in sweet. Fresh orange juice is pure happiness in the morning. Extra cappuccino or milk.
- There is a clear difference between reviews and descriptions on the sites:
- The rooms are not soundproofed, the corridors are noisy, the staff does not make the noise stop at night, the worse they participate with video without headphones, or speak loudly to guests for late check-in.
-There is no double glazing, the construction of the adjoining building is sound day and night. A worker made concrete/gravel with a shovel from 11pm to 2am one night.
-The wifi does not work in the room, it jumps all the time. We had to buy e-sim.
There's no safe in the bedroom.
– The staff does not speak French, there is no currency exchange, there is no 24-hour security service, there is no BBQ, there is no steam room, there are no sun loungers, there is no smoking-free area contrary to what has been reported from the hotel. Attention there is no wheelchair accessibility and there is no elevator.
Let's be clear, the pool is a cold water trout tank. The jaccuzi is a bathtub placed on the roof, the sauna has not been turned on all week. Far too much rubbish litters the rooftop (photos attached)
Watch out for Egyptian scams. We paid for a room with Pyramid view. The first night we had the room view on building under construction. The staff wanted to put us up for a second night in this room, we refused. The boss wanted to put us in one room for two days, then three days in another, we refused.
We showed the staff a free room, pyramid view and we could stay there the week, as chosen and paid.
Be careful, there is an old part of the hotel that I advise against. The redone part is cleaner, more convenient, better decorated and new.
Finally, I do not advise against this hotel but despite their efforts it is far from the hotel to international standards.

Cairo Sphinx Pyramid experience November 2025

Only stayed 2 nights .
Nice welcome on arrival.
Staff really helped us during our stay.
Room clean & tidy with plenty of bathroom toiletries.
Excellent Sphinx & Pyramid view day & night .
Well positioned when moving around & sightseeing.
