Old and dirty

The room we had was inhabited by spiders. It was very old and dirty. We were too scared to gave a shower. Would definitely not stay there again. The only good thing was that each room had a private table and bench outside. The beach area was small with very old chairs

Trapped in Paradise

Although the views of Lake Sevan were exceptional the cabins at Nirvana were tired and mold was growing in the bathroom of the cottage we rented. We ordered two meals at the restaurant and both times we were not given the meals we ordered yet we were charged for them. The proprietor was nice and helped us to negotiate a taxi to Tblisi and into the main town. There is no breakfast but you can get coffee on the main road at the small store located to the left of the entrance. We felt trapped without a car.i do not recommend.

Not recommended

I would absolutely not recommend the Nirvana hotel. Although cheap, the beds are terribly uncomfortable, the cabins are very old and dirty and the showers are dangerous with uncovered wiring within reach of the water. Next to this, there are many flies in this area that spoil the beach experience. So although Armenians love Lake Sevan and will recommend it to you as a nice site (as this is the only see-like water they have), this is actually not a very nice place to visit at all.

Geen aanrader

Hotel Nirvana is erg oud en ligt op een mooie plek aan het meer. Dat is het meest positieve dat ik erover kan zeggen. De eigenaren zijn aardig en behulpzaam, en ze bieden prima eten aan. Maar toch: dit is echt geen aanrader!

Отель для летнего отдыха.

Останавливались в этом отеле 23 мая. Домики не предназначены для холодного времени года, включали обогреватель. Чисто, но уже требуется замена сантехники. Выгодно для молодежной компании и семейного отдыха, в домике две спальни и гостиная с диваном. Хорошее расположение, прямо на берегу Севана. Приятно засыпать под шум волн. Завтрак был включен - яйца, сосиски, сыр, масло, джем, чай- кофе. Вкусно. Хорошее обслуживание.
