Clean and spacious

Clean and comfortable room and spacious bathroom. A variety of pillows to select from. Well located close to the Bowling and Golf Club for a fine Chinese meal. Friendly and efficient staff. Well maintained grounds.

Hotels are fish bowls

This hotel is one of the better options in Cobar, its clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately though it shares the bad design of most motels where there are cars just outside the door and the walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbour talking and making bodily motions all night through a shared door. My neighbour sat outside our shared courtyard and gossiped long into the night. The hotel room, despite being an outrageous $200 had no cutlery, plates or anything to make a proper meal. Maybe just skip Cobar all together and try to get an air bnb somewhere else.

motel in a quiet location

We chose the Cobar Central Motor Inn as it was located away from the Barrier Highway. Good sized room, comfortable bed and good shower. Parking was a little tight. This is the place to stay in Cobar if you're a light sleeper and get disturbed by traffic noise.

Surprisingly good.

Two nights for business trip. A very surprising experience. It doesn’t look as good as what it is. Plenty of hot water in the huge shower with volume that would drown a whale. Comfortable bed. Quiet air-conditioning. Wasn’t a huge room, but it was big enough. Covered carpark at front of room. Opposite the Club, which is very handy too.

Great Motel, Great location. Well worth a stay

We stayed just 1 night at the Cobar Central Motor Inn, Cobar. This motel is located well of the main highway and opposite the Cobar Bowling and Golf Club. Easy access to the motel of the street. Mostly under cover parking, A great pool, welcoming reception area, lovely well-appointed room, clean, spacious and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. The Club across the road has a good restaurant and the club it self is well appointed and friendly.
