If you want a no-frills place to lay your head, then go for it. I felt like my room was half-cleaned/prepared, and then the cleaning staff were called away.... When I started to ask the question, I had a member of the cleaning team attend and ask "so what's wrong with your room". Awkward but fine.... I proceeded to show all the ways it wasn't right/usual
and I got road locked at each point. So the only success I had was that he brought back an unopened toilet roll.... This may make me sound elite to some ppl, and I'm ok with that. Through my job, I stay at all levels of accommodation, but there are some levels of cleanliness/ tidyness a person should expect...this place wasn't it.

Avoid this motel and don’t buy diesel in this town.

Very poorly equipped room. Only one bath towel for the two of us. When we asked the receptionist for another plus a hand towel he did not know what that was. There were two cups and one teaspoon but no knives, forks, desert spoons, plates, or glasses. No toaster. No tissues. Only one blanket and no mattress protector/under blanket.
This minimalist offering came at a premium price. Avoid this motel.
The price of diesel in Middlemount was more than 50 cents per litre higher than in Nebo.
Will not go back.
