Great hospitality, good place for budget travelers.
We explored Moree in end of Aug of 2025. We were told this time of the year is possible ideal to visit Moree as it’s not too cold to travel around the town as well as not too hot to enjoy mineral hot bath. We planned our four days trip. We travel by train from Sydney to Moree and back to Sydney as the owner was willing to transport us to/from the train station and drop/pick us from anywhere around the town. The arrangement fitted us perfectly as we just wanted a relaxing trip. The train journey took us more than eight hours but we enjoyed our time on the train. The motel owner was flexible with timing, he was happy to pick us from the train station even we arrived almost two hours late due to the train broken on the way. The owner chauffeured us to a shopping trip. He drove us to Woolworths but we couldn’t find what we needed, he was content to drive us to Coles for us to tryout even though the two supermarkets are in different locations. We conveniently went to the Catholic Church, town centre and restaurants at the motel owner curtesy. We could leisurely walk to the Moree Aquatic Centre for our daily mineral hot bath.
We liked staying in the motel not only by the owner’s hospitality but the place itself. The room has a doubles bed and a single so it’s flexible for a short stay with your companion (couple, couple with a kid, or friends). The separate bathroom is good and private. The kitchenette is good enough for quick easy warm up meals. There’s also a table and chairs outside in front of your room for your outdoor atmosphere. The motel also provides a common cooking area, a basic functional kitchen, where you can prepare/cook for serious big meals/parties. There is also a clothing hanging area where we could hang our wet clothes after hot bath. The room is clean.
Moree is a quiet country town so you may experience like us to live next to a group who entertained themselves by singing karaoke and dancing in the common area. The owners didn’t mind about such activities as they respected their guests’ choice of entertainment but they requested these guests to keep down to give tranquility to other guests as well as maintain neighbourhood quietness.

Excellence Service
We booked the iGrand Motel Moree for a group of 20 people for a 14-day stay.
The staff was positive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They provided us with free pick-up and drop-off from the train station and drove us back and forth to Coles and Woolworths for shopping.
Moreover, the room was clean, and the location was perfect. It is within walking distance of the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre.
We like the ground-floor motel is very convenient for the elderly.
The staff gave us some money to buy food for our group to celebrate together, which made our stay unforgettable. We appreciate and enjoyed our 14-day stay at iGrand Motel.

Bad experience
Do not stay here as the owners are rude. Beware - as they will change the price and not the same price as you have booked originally.
My mother has booked this hotel about 6 months ago (in April) promising a specific room that was safe for her to stay in. The lady owner shoved her into another room and bullied and ridiculed her in front of other guests because the intended room was double booked by other guests, and promised to change her room after the other guests leaves. My mother agreed at first, thinking this was only 2 nights and tried to compromise with the hotel
Owners. The room given to her has water everywhere when she showered, which she had tripped all over, and afterwards when the other guests checked out, they took their word back saying she did not promise anything.
My mother left feeling bullied, upset and had one of the most unpleasant stay. Owner was only after the money and did not treat elderly occupants with respect. We are very disgusted with this motel, not only from their promised service, but the attitude, embarrassment, customer service and overall
hygiene. They have mentioned that if they see my mother’s name again, they will not let her stay here.

Overnight stay
This is a budget motel and as such you get what you pay for. It was cheap. There's no EFTPOS so be prepared to pay by cash or bank transfer. Our room was tired and in need of work. The linen was also tired and threadbare. All this aside, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
