Wheeler appartments, read fine print, read other reviews, careful of your booking
Due to a personal change, I contacted the hotel in June to cancel the booking.
I requested a refund for the room. Six weeks later and with my regular emails, calls and contact, I was advised that the hotel has a policy of 'no refunds' according to thier terms and conditions. I note the booking does state 'no refunds' but given three months prior cencellation of the date, I was told I had a 'good chance' of a refund. The decision to refund was to be provided by the 'management team'.
This was my mistake...
What I should have done is review the various website and travel hotel reviews prior to the booking. Reading these now, I can understand the concerns raised by other travellers. Yes, so good comments, but many dissatified customers, and the opinions of others which I should have noted.
Would I recommend to stay at this hotel? No. My family will not be staying at this hotel.
