INCREDIBLE!!!!

Everything was absolutely perfect here. Having the Obsidian restaurant right at the lodge was so convenient. Prices were good and the food was incredible. We had most of our breakfasts and dinners there. This is also an awesome place because the Cahal Pech ruins (which is really big!) is just a 1 or 2 minute walk from the lodge. Our room was super clean, spacious, the bathroom looked very posh - there’s lots of area to walk around and see wildlife. The staff is also incredibly nice and professional. They were always greeting us and smiling. I also treated myself to a Cacao scrub/massage. Wow! The massage therapist, Flora, was super experienced and removed a lot of knots from my back that I didn’t even realize I had. I would definitely recommend a massage to feel completely pampered and relaxed. We communicated with the Lodge via text over Whatsapp. Great service!

Fantastic jungle lodge

A fantastic 3.5 star hotel. Though not located in the center of downtown San Ignacio, the hotel is literally right next to the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins. Meanwhile, city center is just a short 7 min drive down the hill.
The rooms here are huge. My cabin (Cabin 1) even came with its own giant private hot tub on the veranda. The whole environment is very jungley, so be prepared for plenty of little critters everywhere. But hey, if you're coming here, then you're here to experience nature right?
The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Christiana at the front desk is fantastic.
If you're coming to San Ignacio, I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Nice hotel with serene atmosphere

Nice hotel in a great location with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was also quite good, even though the menu wasn't extensive. I would definitely recommend having dinner there at least once. A special mention to Paula at the reception—she was very friendly and helpful (its staff like her who turn a hotel stay into a great experience).

The staff at Falling Leaves is 2nd to none. Paula at the front desk called my tour company to have them pick me up from the hotel both days even though the tour company did not have that as an option. The pool is spectacular in a jungle setting. Genesis in the restaurant offers fantastic service. Meals are simple but delicious. The rooms are very simple and the bathroom small with a pedestal sink. The door goes right to the outside so do know that some creepy crawlies can occasionally make it in. The place is on top of a steep hill right next to the Mayan ruins in town and a 30 min walk from the center of town. I do highly recommend this place.

Falling Leaves was a beautiful, cozy, and relaxing place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for our honeymoon. The grounds of this hotel was so beautiful with lots of luscious green plants. It’s in a really great location too!
