Skiing in Bansko

Hotel Ida was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly welcoming. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind after a day on the slopes. The overall ambiance of the hotel is calm and charming. Hotel Ida exceeded all expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free stay. Many Thanks Danny, an exceptional host.

Value for money

We were a couple of friends that staid for a week for skiing. Value for money is okay, staff very friendly and location allright. But the breakfest was really bad, did not like the bed or pillows and there was a really bad smell from my bathroom.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Arrived at the IDA 3 star family run Hotel, to loud F ing and G effing from a local having a drink in the bar. It was highly inappropriate, so we didn’t use the bar. However, Danny the host was extremely polite and friendly and changed our very small TV set for one that was compatible with the fire stick. Facilities were good in the hotel, a pool with jacuzzi and a sauna, which was put on, as and when you wanted to use it. The room was adequate and a memory foam king mattress topper made it comfortable. There was a kettle and a fridge to keep the milk fresh and cool. A balcony if you smoked or vaped (we didn’t).
The room and the hotel was kept at an ambient temperature day and night. Location was good, walking distance to the restaurants.

Great location and very friendly.

My partner and I stayed at Ida Hotel for 5 nights in January for a ski holiday. The hotel is in a great location, about 8 mins walk to the Gondola and around 3-4 minutes walk to the main high street. We had the breakfast which was really nice, we had omelettes, cheese on toast and continental breakfast, all of which were delicious. The owner, Danny, was very friendly and helpful and would go out of his way to make sure you were happy. We had a late flight and Danny let us use the facilities before we left and kept our luggage. The beds were comfy and the showers very powerful. The hotel is very good value for money and has everything you need. I would definitely recommend it and we hope to come back to Bansko again.

Amazing stay!

Great stay, comfy and clean bed!
Not far to walk from the centre of Bansko.
The staff is amazing very kind and ready to help anytime!
We try the food in the Mexican restaurant that is in the hotel and the food is wow! The best part is that is prepared on spot and its not something frozen pull out of the fridge!
Definitely we will return again!
