THEY ROBBED ME
I booked two nights in a hostel and deposited $50,000. However, the airline changed my flight and would consequently arrive after 11:30 P.M. When I informed, I was informed that to receive care at that time I had to pay an additional $12,000 (more than 20% of my total reservation). Given this, I opted to request the refund and was assured that I would receive it in 24 hours.
I looked for other accommodation, but the next day, when I called to confirm the refund, I was informed that I would not be refunded anything because I had cancelled less than five days in advance.
Furthermore, nowhere on their website did they mention that they had no 24-hour reception or detail their cancellation policy. The administrator insisted that these conditions appeared in the confirmation email, but:
1️⃣ I booked less than five days in advance, so I had no option to cancel without loss.
2️⃣ I could not foresee that the airline would change my flight.
3️⃣ Its lack of transparency prevented me from making an informed decision before booking.
What's more, their Facebook site says "always open" (see photo)
I tried to reason with the administration, but it was impossible. They just wanted to keep my money. A total lack of ethics and professionalism. Any other hotel would have handled the situation more judiciously and humanely.
⚠️ If you are looking for accommodation, avoid this hostel at all costs. Don't make the same mistake as me.
