Value for price

Value for price and easy check-in and check-out.
We first got a room, it wasn't what we dreamed of because there were single beds. We contacted the phone number we got and after 5 minutes we had a lovely new room.
The staff has gone home at 15:00, that's where we're checking in, maybe there could be a little overlap?
The beds and the room were neat and clean, all we lacked was a window that could be kept open at night.
But definitely a good hotel for the price and really nice breakfast buffet with great selection.

Hostel - not hotel

Booked the ‘Hotel’ on 19/6-2025 for a night stay.. we couldn't reach until the reception closed at 15:00. Was offered last room which was a comfort plus room with terrace for 1.349kr and got sent entry code and room code. When we arrived at about 20 o'clock it was overwhelmed with schoolchildren - spoke with a teacher who stated that there were 80 ⚡ children who were supposed to stay to the next day . This information we would like to have at the time of booking.. There was noise and loud talk until 23:00 and again from 6:00 a.m.
It is not a hotel but closer to a hostel in the better end.
Signed as a member of Small Danish Hotels, which turned out to be wrong..
Upon check-out we claimed the missing information about the other guests, but there was no possibility of compensation.
Besides, it stinks of sewage, which was tried hidden with chemical spray
Certainly not recommended.

Sad about it.

Coming to this hotel after a long trip, we had booked room for 2/double bed. Oh on the pictures it looked like nice rooms. We were sent to a room at the reception. Oh when I got there we were very disappointed! It looked like I had come to a nursing home, with poor standards. Handicap do and shower chair, but worst was the view which was brick wall, and garbage containers. I didn't get a double bed either. They said they could try to find another hotel room, and then we could swap with someone else. But that's exactly what I thought they'd done with our room. We said we could pay extra for an upgraded room, but they had none. Then we asked to get back the money for the other 3 nights and find another hotel, and stay there for 1 night. But they ⁇ 't, but they said they had another hotel/motel? So we said okay, but regret it. We came to a hostel, which looked like an old big intern/school. Long dark endless times with doors, ghost hostel. 3 guests apart from us... the room was ok, and the bed luckily clean. But not completely clean, no refrigerator or air conditioning. No shampoo/shower soap or cups. We also had to take off the bed and handcuffs to carry it to the washing jacket themselves. But, worst of all was breakfast! A nasty cheese smell in the kitchen/dining room, 2 varieties of bread, 4 sets of which a sweaty cheese, and youghurt with cereal mixture. Coffee ok, but lame milk... was so disappointed that I didn't want to eat breakfast the next day. We had actually paid for a hotel stay. We tried to make the stay as good as possible and were as low as possible in this place. Never again this hotel/hostel!

Located in the middle of nowhere, check-in process has serious flaws

Stayed here for a short sleepover on the way to Germany. I did read some reviews before I arrived, so I didn't have high expectations.
First of all: I booked this stay via Best Western. That part went smooth, but I was a bit surprised when I received an e-mail directly from the hotel about checking in online - and being charged 6 DKK for doing so. Granted, not a big amount by any means, but Best Western didn't say anything about this at the the time of booking. I did pay the amount and I was then expecting to receive an SMS containing PIN codes for both the entrance door and the room itself. No message was received an hour after online check-in, so I decided to call them instead (note: the reception is only open between 15:00 and 18:00). The ladies on the phone were very helpful, and they provided me with the requires PIN codes.
Locating the hotel - in the dark after midnight - was actually difficult. There was a sign leading to the hotel area, but as the streets were not lit, and the area seems to be a combination of both residential and industrial, it was difficult to find the physical entrance and the area was dead silent and actually a bit creepy (subjective of course). Both the hotel and the area sure looked a lot better during the daylight!
The PIN codes were correct and I managed to enter my room without any hassle. The room standard (superior) was fine, actually better than many other hotels I've stayed at in Denmark. It's an old building, so the floors are making a lot of noise, but the room was perfectly fine - it was clean, had good beds and a very modern ventilated bathroom with a good shower (with enough water!). There did not seem to be any ventilation in the rest of the room, so I simply opened the window at night. If the outside temperatures go over 25 degrees I do expect that this room will become hot!
I had a good night's sleep and tried the breakfast. It was quite basic but good. Good coffee too.
Check-out must be done online (which is strange, since there was a paper on the reception desk where we were supposed to write our room number when leaving).
Summary: I would not categorize this as a "bad" hotel, it delivers as expected for a 3-star hotel, but the experience could certainly be improved:
1) The online check-in process simply MUST work. You can't rely on guests having to call to get the required PIN codes, especially during late evenings. Needless to say: Guests should NOT have to pay an extra fee to check- in online!!!
2) More signs - and lights - are needed to guide arriving guests to the hotel.
3) If the check-in process is 100% digital, so should the check-out process be too.
Would I stay here again? Not sure.
