Excellent hotel in the center of Silkeborg

Our room was perfect, with beds of top standard, well equipped and perfectly cleaned. The breakfast was awesome. We find the location perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings, such as the lake district and the Himmelbjerg area as well as visit the picturesque town.

Good location but boring hotel

Nice location. Nice and clean. The rooms are boring, very standard. The bathroom was very small and of the kind that easily gets wet over everything. Breakfast was under standard, however with an incredibly cute lady as hostess. After 19:00 the reception is closed and the elevator is not available. Overall, the hotel seems a little old and expensive compared to what you get.

Great location for this historic hotel. Although there is parking behind the hotel it is not included in the room price and is expensive. The breakfast buffet was average. They ran out of the fresh loaves of bread and did not replenish them.

Friendly staff. Old worn hotel. Ridiculously expensive hotel bar. Decent but basic breakfast. Unimpressive cleaning standard.

Steer away from this hotel.

Booked a night in go believe here that we could have late check-in after 22:00. I got an answer that it didn't work.
Have tried to send messages to the hotel, no response.
Cancelled the rooms eventually, but they did not accept the reason, have paid fully for both rooms. About 2500 NOK!!
I was informed that I could take it with the insurance company to get covered the expenses.
A little customer friendly.
Not stated in the booking that it is not recommended for movement restrictive! It says it's an elevator!
Not recommend this hotel!
We booked another hotel with a 24-hour reception. They wanted us Welcome!
