Very good
A few nights in February. Appreciable decor even for children. Rather well located in the city. Everything is perfect, right down to the large pool.
The restaurant does not have good value for money but remains convenient when you do not want to go out. Room service is very average.

Not at Pullman level
Location is very practical. Breakfast is good. Lobby is nice. And that is all of the positives.
Rooms and hallways are screaming for renovation. Worn out beds, moldy showers and particular smells despite rooms being cleaned every day.
Spa is mostly broken down. Showers not working, steam bath not working, even water fountain not working.
Silent period from 5 pm to 9 pm is not monitored by staff present at the pool. So you have kids and adults screaming, talking loudly, jumping into pool. Going into saunas that are textile free zone fully dressed and with their slippers on.
I even asked attending staff if the silent period is still a thing and why it is so loud - answer was - what do you want me to do, ask everyone to stop?
So, if you plan to stay for one night, should be ok. But overpriced and definitely not the star rating that they market themselves. Very sad for Pullman brand.

Actually very nice: But small things did not work
I stayed in room 235 from August 24th to the 26th.
Actually, it is a very nice hotel, with very friendly staff. The hotel is not quite up to date technically. For example, there was no USB-C charging port in the room yet. But you can deal with that. Breakfast was quite tasty. The bar was still open after midnight on Saturday. Everything very accommodating.
What was annoying: Small things did not work.
- The room safe was broken, a technician was not on the premises. On Sunday, shortly before check-out, the technician finally came. I stored my things in the hotel safe during the stay.
- The air conditioning could not always be turned off reliably. Even with the window open, it kept running. The air conditioning was set to 0 degrees Celsius and could only be turned up to 3 degrees Celsius. The solution was to take the room card out for a few minutes and put it back in. Then at least turning it off was possible.
At a guesthouse or a simple hotel, one can overlook that. But at a 5-star hotel, that only gets 3 points.

Pleasant stay without surprises in a hotel. 4 stars
Hotel located near shops and the Berlin zoo, not far from shops and transportation. Varied breakfast and professional and pleasant staff, 4 stars without surprises, the soundproofing is light, you can hear the very busy road, the hotel is large, lacking a welcome booklet in the room to avoid asking where the pools are at the reception for example.

Intimidating Staff....
Checking took est 20mins for two room we couldnt understand this delay, only then to be told our other room a Disabled Room wouldn't be ready until 6pm.
After spending our evening with family myself and wife decided to finish the evening with a drink, only to be met with the most abrupt member of staff, who when giving us our drink Slammed Both of them onto the table. Further more when I said thankyou he turn looked at me and walked away, ive never felt so intimidated before. Then A very similar situation happened with my daughter and her Disabled Grandfather the following evening. (With the same staff member)This was when myself and wife spoke to the Duty Manager who advised us we would be contacted shortly-this never happened. Never Again!
