Good price-performance ratio with optimal transport connections to the city center

Although the hotel is not located in the center and not in the best area of Munich, the transport connections are excellent. With the subway (U5) across the street, you can be in the city center (Karlsplatz/Stachus) in 25 minutes.
The hotel is modern and originally furnished in a Scandinavian-minimalist style.
The hotel's landscaped inner courtyard is also nice.
Almost next door there is a large parking garage and right next to the hotel a good supermarket (Rewe).
The breakfast buffet offers a plentiful selection. In addition, on the 3rd floor there is a game room with a floor chess board and a pinball machine (including a smoking balcony). The WiFi is good, as is the quality of the beds (mattresses) and bathrooms.
Anyone looking for accommodation that is still somewhat affordable in expensive Munich is in good hands here.

Don’t stay here

The staff and service were just horrible. I’ve never received such a bad service at any hotel ever! And I travel every month due to my job! We are paying for a service and the staff treated us like they are doing us a favor by even responding to us. We asked for towels and change of sheets and they told us they will do room service every 5 days and if we want towels and bedsheets we need to go get them ourselves.

We take your comments regarding the way you were treated very seriously. Our guests should always feel welcome, respected, and supported, and we are sorry that you felt as though our team was doing you a favor rather than providing the service you had paid for. Regarding housekeeping, our standard room cleaning takes place every five days as part of our long-stay concept. However, we fully understand that fresh towels and bed linen are basic necessities during a longer stay. While our concept does differ from that of a traditional hotel, the communication and handling of your request should have been much more welcoming and helpful.
We sincerely apologize if you were made to feel that you had to take care of these matters yourself without appropriate assistance from our team. We will discuss your feedback with our Front Office and Housekeeping teams to ensure that our standards and communication are clearly understood.

When we arrived there was a loud noise from the AC that was going off every 20 minutes. I reported to reception and they said unfortunately hotel was fully booked and technicians had gone home, which was understandable as by this time it was the evening but that they would get it looked at the next day. I purchased some ear plugs from the shop downstairs to get through the night and next morning the technicians fixed the problem which I was very happy about.
I also availed of the gym which was by far one of the best hotel gyms I have been to, was fairly quiet and the equipment was all fairly new. All in all I was very impressed and would stay again.

Full service Rewe in part of the building and train a few hundred meters away to all locations in Munich and beyond

The rooms were clean and huge. I loved this hotel the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
