Dirty and ugly. There are much better options in town.

The hotel is old and dirty, not worth half of the price they ask. The bathroom is something that could come out of WW1; the provided toiletries are a joke: bring your own soap and shampoo.
Breakfast is included but the quality is quite poor. Communication is also a weak point: I asked them in advance for airport pick-up, but I waited a long time on my arrival until I decided to take a taxi on my own instead. I also asked them to cancel my second night but they simply ignored me.
Location is the only good thing, along with the friendly staff. I will definitely avoid next time and stay at Escape hotel instead.

Good location, a bit dated

Stayed one night. Communication with the property was good and they always replied promptly. Good central location, however reasonably quiet.
The room was reasonably spacious, clean, albeit a bit dated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities included electric kettle and mini-fridge. Well located power sockets. Comfortable bed and pillows.
A/C worked well.
The bathroom was quite dated, especially the shower. The water was lukewarm.
Wifi worked well.
Decent breakfast (it was the first day of Ramadan) with yogurt, fruit, pastries.
Overall, the hotel is expensive compared to a similar standard in other locations, but that's the way it is in Djibouti.

Great Service

The staff is welcoming and eager to help. They speak English, French, Arabic, and Somali. The manager, Mohamed, went out of his way to be hospitable, educating me on the local culture and sharing his stories. I truly enjoyed my stay.
The hotel has a restaurant that is perfectly good. There are ATMs right around the corner. The hotel will also arrange for a taxi to the airport. Enjoy your stay!
