Not Tourist Friendly

Inside the hotel was ok, nice decor but the surrounding environment was untidy - you could barely get a place to walk on across the road. The greatest challenge by far was with communication. You could not get by without being a native French speaker. Some of the staff at the reception did not understand a word of English. It was really a nightmare. It's not that bad even in Paris. Also, they wouldn't accept any other form of payment except cash. This caused us a lot of stress when our debit card didn't work. The manager refused to charge our bill to the credit card used to make the reservation and so we had to sweat it out to get funds transferred to us through Western Union with very ridiculous exchange rates. In summary, the facility (and country) is not tourist friendly and I won't be back, nor recommend to any non French speaking person.

Welcoming staff but not a place to stay for long

A lot very place to stay in, the environs not all that pleasant but the people wonde ful to interact with. At the crossroad, do not miss the falafel joint at the corner and a coffee boy directly opposite. The staff are good too and always available.
