A beautiful place
My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to the region and started our trip at the Royal Champagne Hotel. We then searched for something with the same quality for the next leg of our journey but with a more authentic feel.
I can tell you we found it! Our welcome was such a nice surprise. Ryan greeted us with a fantastic tour of the property and a lovely glass of champagne. The lounge areas, garden and breakfast areas were so idyllic.
Every detail was carefully thought through. The rooms were light and bright with everything you could possibly need. Not to mention immaculate.
The breakfast was delightful and made all the more enjoyable by great conversation with the hosts. Our every need was catered for and the local knowledge was out of this world. We didn’t have to lift a finger.
If you want Royal Champagne quality but with an authentic French village feel. This is the place for you. We will be going back. Thank you Ryan and Agnes you’ve curated this place to perfection.

Exceptional!
Maison À Deux Mains is the definition of boutique b&b. From gorgeous interior design, thoughtful and attentive service, and local sourced food, this property will not disappoint. Ryan and Agnes have done a brilliant job of retaining the charm of the building and surrounding area of Ay Champagne. Undoubtedly a small town but the perfect spot for a quiet getaway in the vineyards where everything is within walking distance. Ideal for couples or groups of friends alike. Thank you Ryan & Agnes for a fantastic stay!

Will stay here again next visit
Ryan and Agnes were lovely hosts, and the maison is beautiful, with its own cellar. Parts of the maison date back to the late 1700s, and with the guest rooms beautifully restored and climate controlled. Everything feels curated, from the breakfast (highly recommended) to the bath products.
The location is superb, in the Grand Cru village of Äy-Champagne within walking distance of several champagne houses. It is about a 7 min drive / 15 min bike ride to Épernay and its Avenue de Champagne, and the hosts offered use of their bikes.
The hosts also provided excellent dinner and activity recommendations; Ryan even provided us with a short walking tour itinerary of sights in nearby Reims.
When we return we will stay at Maison À Deux Mains again.

Perfect and beyond expectation
We had a thoroughly wonderful time as guests of Ryan and Agnes. They are great hosts and rightfully proud of what they have accomplished in the renovation of this property. It is easy to find; parking is straightforward and the welcome is worthy of any established 5-star hotel. Check in with a glass of champagne from a local 'micro' house - beat that if you can. A tour of the property and a overview of our room followed. Our room was just so. My wife said 'it's so clean' and believe me that is praise indeed. On our return in the evening Ryan and I caught up on the World Cup on the big screen. Breakfast is amazing; the pastries are way up there, the service is just so finely judged, and the right level of advice and thoughts were proffered for our day ahead. We were directed to record shops as well as a lovely walking tour of Reims. Don't be worried about being away from other parts of this seriously Champagne area - even with France playing a key football game we were easily able to get Ubers around from Maison to tours to dinner in Epernay and back. The property is tucked away and quiet; I like to run most mornings and was easily able to get up into the hills for a run through the Champagne vineyards. We don't really have enough superlatives for this faultless stay and recommend Maison à Deux Mains without reservation.

Wonderful Stay
In the heart of Ay, Agnes and Ryan have lovingly restored 3 buildings to make a luxurious B&B. We were welcomed with champagne and taken to our beautiful room. The linen on the bed, the toiletries, everything has been carefully curated. A beautiful home cooked breakfast every morning and then information as to where to go and what to see. A very warm and wonderful experience.
