quiet hotel, clean room, silent, very friendly staff, good varied buffet breakfast. In the center, 50 meters from the hotel are shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, ice cream shops, etc., next to a supermarket and another supermarket 100 meters away. The only downside is the internal parking for motorcycles and cars; for cars, it is free if there is space, and if you find a spot, unless you walk, if you go out by car, upon returning you might not find a spot and have to manage in the surrounding streets. The historic center is 800 meters away, requiring a steep uphill walk to get there.

The Hotel offers no parking & self parking in the street has been rather problematic.

The hotel is at a perfect location, close to the prorel and the comercial main street for at Briançon. You May walk to Vaubans fotification. The bus stop is right in front. The owners are a Nice couple, they are very kind. He’s a little grumpy as a good french. :)

Modern and comfortable room with a magnificent view

Friendly welcome, parking in inner courtyard. The room is nice, well insulated by double glazing and a roller shutter. I enjoyed the towel warmer in the bathroom. From the spacious balcony there is a magnificent view of the mountains, the old town and the fortifications, and from the breakfast room you can see the skiers descending the slope of the Prorel.

Abominable

To escape.
Booked the hotel for a ski trip in March 2026.
Due to a back injury and the total inability to ski, I tried to cancel my reservation (well in advance, more than a month).
The hotel reception then tells me to turn to Booking, which I then do to send them a cancellation request.
3 requests for cancellations refused and during the last telephone exchange with the said reception, what was not my amazement when I was yelled at.
According to the kind and very helpful hostess, I will have to go to hell and take a dictionary to learn to differentiate a cancellation from a "request for cancellation"; which are apparently not the same thing AT ALL.
A cancellation allows a refund, a cancellation request (which I have made 3 times and which have been refused) does not allow it - try to understand...
Don't waste your time and book elsewhere with their Briançonnais colleagues, with whom I have already had the opportunity to go for many of them and who are much more commercial.
And if, however, you venture there, bring a Larousse.

Votre malhonnêteté est flagrante :
Réservation Booking pour 2 nuits
Le 5 mars : demande d'annulation pour cause de mal de dos. Demande refusée et précision de notre part qu'il faut annuler la réservation sinon les 2 nuits seront payantes.
Le 7 mars : à nouveau une demande d'annulation pour cette fois raison familiale et personnelle. Demande refusée et à nouveau, nous précisons que vous devez annuler la réservation sur Booking pour ne payer qu'une seule nuit.
Hier, jour d'arrivée prévue, car toujours pas d'annulation de votre part, nous vous appelons à 21h50, pour vous prévenir que la réception ferme à 22h00 et pour vous donnez les codes d'accès pour la chambre pour faciliter votre arrivée.
60% de nos clients qui demandent une annulation décident finalement de venir, et en sont ravis au vue de nos notes réelles.
Donc oui : une demande d'annulation n'est pas la même chose qu'une annulation!
