A 4-star hotel that is no longer one... very poor value for money.
Accustomed to Novotel hotels in France and abroad and an ALL member, I have rarely seen such a gap between the displayed category and the actual service.
We had booked two rooms with two single beds to travel with our two children.
Before arrival, I tried calling to ask for connecting or nearby rooms: they picked up and then hung up. On the second call, the external switchboard itself could not reach the hotel.
Upon arrival:
* one room has a double bed instead of the two single beds reserved;
* the two rooms are at opposite ends of the hotel;
* several lights do not work;
* stained towel, dirty shower, stained carpet;
* air conditioning limited in its use;
* ALL Premium Wi-Fi that does not work properly.
The next morning, flies on the breakfast buffet.
But the most problematic part remains the reaction of the front desk. In the evening and then in the morning, no real accountability. I am told in particular that I should have called beforehand (precisely what I had tried to do!!!) then they try to present the room with the smallest double bed to me as an "upgrade."
A mistake can happen. Here, it is the accumulation that poses a problem.
The general impression is that of a hotel that is gradually deteriorating, with visible savings on maintenance, equipment, and service. Eventually, the consequence is simple: the service is no longer at the level of a 4-star hotel.
At €372.60 for one night and two rooms, it is a very bad deal.

A Good Stay This Time – But Parking Needs Attention
The hotel was extremely busy, particularly on the Friday evening, but there was still a nice atmosphere about the place. The bar was very busy but was well staffed and service remained friendly and efficient despite the number of guests.
Our rooms were spotless, well appointed and clearly modernised to a good standard. We had a comfortable night's sleep and everything in the rooms was as it should be.
Breakfast the following morning was equally busy, but the buffet was well stocked and very well managed. Staff were constantly replenishing items and keeping everything moving, which was impressive given how busy the hotel was.
The one significant downside was the parking. There was absolutely nowhere available in the hotel car park when we arrived and we eventually had to park on a grass verge, which wasn't ideal. There also appeared to be a number of vehicles in the car park that looked as though they may have been there for some considerable time. For a hotel that attracts so many guests travelling by car, the parking situation could certainly do with being looked at.
Overall though, a good stay on this occasion. The hotel was busy but well run, the rooms were excellent and the staff remained friendly and welcoming throughout.

Very bad experience
The next day, we received a 20% discount on our bill and the apologies of the hotel manager, who told us that the establishment was full (on a Thursday night) and that it was not possible to assign us another room.
More generally, this establishment left us with the impression of a relentless pursuit of savings under the guise of green goodwill. Restricted refrigerator (not working either), toilet paper not only very thin but also of a reduced size, a sign on the stair door inviting us to use the stairs instead of the elevator!

Great option for a one-night stopover
Not luxury hotel, basic must say, but serves its purpose, meaning for a one-night stopover. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, like in an industrial area, so not a touristy location at all. Room was clean, well equipped, when we checked-in with the dog they gave us some treats for her, on the way back, we arrived early evening and we also had dinner at the restaurant, which was really good.
As said, for what we needed, it was perfect.
