Thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Belfast. Reception in particular could not have been more helpful. Room wasn't the biggest but freshly decorated, very clean and comfortable. Decor throughout the hotel is nicely quirky with lots of interesting things to look at. Will definitely go back again.

Horrible!

A Birthday Trip That Turned Into a Very Distressing Experience
I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my 10-year-old son. We were traveling with another mother and her son, and I had booked two rooms under the same reservation.
Before our arrival, I emailed the hotel because the trip was to celebrate my son’s birthday. I asked if they could arrange a small birthday surprise in the room, and I received a confirmation email saying they would be happy to do so.
Unfortunately, upon arrival, the afternoon receptionist told me they knew nothing about my request and insisted that I should have informed the hotel two days in advance. When I showed him the confirmation email that had been sent four days before our arrival, his response was simply that the new manager had probably forgotten to inform the staff. I politely asked if he could contact the manager to clarify the situation, but he refused, saying he would not call him on his day off. There was no apology and no attempt to find a solution.
From that moment on, our stay continued to deteriorate.
There was no luggage assistance, and we had to carry all of our suitcases ourselves using a very small and extremely slow elevator.
Although both rooms were booked together, one was considerably smaller than the other. The larger room was unbearably hot. When I asked whether there was a problem with the air conditioning, the same receptionist dismissively told me that I was actually “very lucky” with the room I had received and even suggested I should look at other rooms to appreciate mine.
The rooms were outdated, poorly maintained, and had almost no sound insulation. We could hear conversations and noises from neighboring rooms. The bathroom amenities were also disappointing, with no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided.
The excessive heat became a serious problem. My friend’s 10-year-old son was unable to sleep because the room was so hot. The following morning, I returned to reception and politely asked if someone could simply check the air conditioning.
Instead of offering assistance, the receptionist raised his voice at me in front of both children. He repeatedly insisted that I was “lucky” to have that room and then threatened that if I continued complaining, our belongings would be thrown out of the hotel. He even refused to hand me my room key for a period of time.
As two mothers traveling alone with our young children, this behavior was frightening and completely unacceptable. My son and I were both left in tears. The next day, my son told me he did not want to leave the room because he was afraid of the receptionist. No family should ever feel intimidated while staying at a hotel.
The only positive aspect of our stay was David, the morning receptionist. He was consistently polite, respectful, and kind. I would like to sincerely thank him for treating guests with the professionalism and courtesy that we had hoped to experience throughout our stay.
I travel frequently, and I understand that mistakes can happen. What matters is how a hotel responds. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was not the outdated rooms or the lack of amenities—it was the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect shown by one member of the reception staff.
I cannot recommend this hotel, especially to families with children. Paris offers many hotels where guests are treated with the respect they deserve.

Dear Ms. Zamani,
We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations and regret the disappointment you experienced.
Regarding your son's birthday, we fully appreciate the importance of such a special occasion. While discussions had taken place prior to your arrival, the arrangements had not been finalised or confirmed, including the requested services and the associated budget. We acknowledge that this follow-up should have been handled more effectively on our part, and we apologise for any misunderstanding. At the same time, as no final confirmation had been received from you, the arrangements remained incomplete.
During your stay, we were pleased to provide two beautiful rooms overlooking the Arc de Triomphe, including a complimentary upgrade to one of the rooms. Our housekeeping team serviced the rooms daily, unless otherwise requested, and bathroom amenities, including shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, were replenished throughout your stay as needed to ensure your comfort.
Our team is genuinely committed to providing attentive, personalised service and to resolving any concerns as promptly as possible. We readily acknowledge when we make mistakes and always strive to put them right. However, we regret that some exchanges during your stay became particularly challenging for our team, despite their continued efforts to assist and find suitable solutions. We remain committed to treating every guest with professionalism and courtesy, just as we ask that our team members be treated with the same respect in return.
We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Kind regards,
Philippe, Front office Manager

The room was cute and did have a balcony and view of Eiffel tower partially. However , the amenities were horrendous. No electrical sources other than 1 . Very little room to move about , bathroom was so so small it couldnr have been any smaller . Very tiny cheap shampoo soap etc.. no shuttle after landing in Paris , one key that you must leave with desk when you leave hotel foe the day . A/C or heat not working at all . Overall very disappointing
