Hotel with a luxurious terrace and Instagrammable courtyard

I was here in February. The hotel is located very close to the center and the embankment (5 minutes through the colorful streets of Tbilisi). Inside there is a beautiful, atmospheric courtyard and the famous fresco with the image of Frida, next to which everyone takes pictures The terrace offers a magnificent view of the city. The rooms are warm, cozy, good showers! The hotel has a cafe with delicious pancakes! Very caring hosts, who made me feel like I was at home. Everything was emotional.

Horrible

A Pied-up “Hotel”, in effect Hostel Without Service

I would like to express my opinion regarding this "hotel" and warn potential guests.
I highly recommend not to stay more than 1 night, the concept of «service» does not exist in the staff. Next, point by point, I will list the cons:
1. Food. Relaxed with her husband for nine nights, initially taking breakfast for all days. Breakfasts were scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. On the first day came to breakfast on time at 10:00 a.m.- there was almost nothing left of the food. Employees don't record who ate and who didn't. We've got eggs and sausages on the move. On the second day, we had to take a tour by 8 a.m., so we asked for food with us - the administrator said that there is an opportunity to prepare boxing (in general it was full), but you have to inform in advance. On the 3rd day we had to even earlier for the excursion (by 7am) - alas did not have time to cook and we left hungry. Since we had tours for all days, we decided to clean the breakfasts. Therefore, if there are no early rises, I recommend walking to the center and eating well in the cafe.
2. Room cleanliness and cleaning. During the entire stay in the room cleaned 1(!) once and only after 5 days stay , and then only after my repeated requests (it seems that sometimes my requests were missed by the admin). When replacing towels and bed brought dirty (see photo). Shampoo was not brought once , shower gel only once (although it is indicated that there are hygiene supplies). There was no question of a toothbrush with paste. In the bathroom there were woodlice running, and in the room itself we noticed ants... Thus, the cleanliness of this hotel was not distinguished.
3. Room. The Room itself turned out to be quite tattered - the handle in the toilet was initially broken (I told the owner repeatedly throughout the days - never fixed), so the toilet went with the door half open; the wallpaper was torn and the floor was broken (you could easily trip). There was also no TV in the room, as indicated in the description (well, God forbid), a kettle (and it was very needed - some medicines had to be dissolved in boiling water). There was a lack of trash cans (you had to throw everything away either in the bathroom in the trash or on the street).
4. Location. The hotel itself is on a slide in the old town. Walking is so hard all the time, and not every taxi comes straight to the hotel. Very disliked the constant walk of tourists not staying in rooms - since the Room itself was on the 1st floor, there was no soundproofing from the word at all. You could hear footsteps, talk and all the other noise from the tourists.
In summary, I can say that if this establishment positions itself as a hotel, it has a rating of no more than 1 star; very much lame service , quality of service. To my great regret, our residence in Georgia left a very bad impression. Be vigilant and careful when choosing your accommodation (it is better to overpay and choose a chain hotel).

Warm and nice hotel

Despite the fact that the hotel's location is a little inconvenient - on a hill, by the second day we were quite used to it. A very atmospheric apart-hotel. The double room we lived in was small, but everything was very clean. The furniture is new, the bed is snow-white, the toilet and shower are very clean. The owner of the hotel, Gena, is warm-hearted and hospitable, always ready to help on any issue. The hotel is close to all the historical places you can walk to. I recommend.

Terrible shower, photos are misleading

The shower was absolutely terrible. Not only did it flood the room every time you used it, but it was intermittently ridiculously hot or ridiculously cold. The head didn’t work properly and dribbled water in some directions and sprayed it in others.
The cleaner seemed to stand around smoking all day and didn’t clean our room at all during our stay. There is was no soap or toiletries in the room when we arrived, nor was there any toilet roll.
The two young lads in the reception area sit around playing games on their phones all day. They couldn’t be bothered to make a coffee in one of the many cafetières behind them so charged me 14GEL for two Turkish coffees, an over the odds price for Tbilisi.
The positives were the room was clean when we arrived, and they let us check in very early as our flight arrived in the morning.
