Super recommended

Excellent location with small terrace overlooking the marina. Perfect area for relaxation and taverns with excellent food. You will find pretty beaches and a fabulous sea. Panos is very helpful with information on places to visit and restaurants. Cleanliness also very good

Recommend for one night

This studio is highly overrated for what it offers. I booked one studio for 2 persons/90 euros per night. The 'studio' is tiny, to say the least, the attitude of the owner is not the best experience in my life: we arrived 3 hours earlier than the normal check-in time, it was baking hot, he told us to have a stroll around and return later. In that minuscule place, a stroll would take 30 min max. We returned and stayed on the porch, thank God they allowed us. The entrance in the studio is directly from the garden, full of cats who enter your room (I am allergic to cats!). All in all, I recommend the place for one night, if you are in dire need of a place to sleep.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us improve our services. However, we would like to address a few points for clarity.
You arrived three hours before the designated check-in time, and unfortunately, the previous guest had not yet checked out. As we are not a hotel with a lobby, we suggested a stroll while the room was being prepared. Upon your return, we accommodated you on the porch until the studio was ready, which was on your check in time.
Regarding the studio size, the photos and details provided prior to booking accurately depict the space. Other choices and type of studios were also available during the time of your booking and they were all presented to you. The garden studio does have direct access to the garden, and while we do our best to manage the presence of local cats, it is part of the garden environment which is clearly mentioned in the description.
We understand also there was some confusion regarding the cancellation policy. Our intention is always to be transparent and fair with our guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in settling the matter according to the agreed terms.
We strive to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests. Thank you for your feedback and for helping us improve our services.

Amazing hospitality and great location!

We escaped to Porto Koufo after 5 days in Sarti, where we were overwhelmed by the crowd , the noise, and the low quality of both services and food. We found this amazing spot just in front to the sea, which resembles more a mountain lake than an actual sea beach! The place is superquite, Panos and Barbara are super nice!Plus the snorkeling in porto Koufo is amazing! We would definitely like to come back

Will definitely go back

Wonderful location and best view of Porto Koufo. Panos (the owner) had great tips about places to go and things to see in the local area. It is worth following up on his recommendations. Will definitely go back sometime in the future.

Can't get better than this!

After seeing the crass commercialism of towns like Sarti on the Sithonian peninsula, to rock into the quiet little fishing village of Porto Koufo was a relief and a joy. Then to discover Ailis Studios and their wonderful host Panos an even greater delight. Our balcony overlooked the quaint fishing harbour, the room was peaceful, ambient and clean, and our host friendly and helpful, going out of his way to make our stay perfect. Shower area was roomy (unusual for Greece), and there are facilities to organise snacks or a light meal (a burner, fridge, frypan). With the great restos just a stonesthrow away, who's want to cook anyway?! Simply wonderful and a highlight of our three weeks in Greece.
