Heaven on earth
Booked 2 rooms for 2 days,I must say this place is a total paradise,in today's life and times this is truly a place in the lap of nature,u have to visit it to believe it.The rooms are ok,food is gud,staff is also very cooperative and even the owners have a cottage in the compound area and are very warm n courteous people.You can't make out from the main road that there is a huge resort just 500 meters up the hill.However there are something's to keep in mind before u visit this place,don't go if ur not a nature lover and love to watch television etc,not a place for very old individuals or those who have knee problems or those who don't like to walk as u have to walk a bit to rch the resort and that also on incline...if these things don't matter thn i would suggest at least one trip to this place...u won't regret it.

Beautiful stay at the Seed at Queen's Mead
If you are looking for a soulful experience in deep silence of forest of Ranikhet, then Seed at Queen's Meadows is a perfect place. It gives such a blissful vibe that everyday you wake up with the chirpy birds dancing on the trees while the sky lits up to welcome the arrival of Sun. The rooms are super clean to make the stay very comfortable. The staff is so good, particularly Vicky who welcomes you on the way with the arrival drinks, to Chef Harish Joshi making amazingly delicious food while Pankaj ji who takes care of the overall stay. This place is on top of the list of stay in Ranikhet!

A place of quiet beauty
This estate is nestled amongst forest and is a quiet haven for weary souls. The property is beautifully landscaped with natural rock paths, colourful gardens and rustic cottages. The dining room is an exquisite example of glass and timber architecture, nestled amongst trees and with panoramic views of the valley below. The chef,Harish , is accomplished in a wide variety of Indian dishes and his main desire seems to be to please each guest. The staff, of whom there are many, are very kind, attentive and friendly. The manager, Jagdeep, is knowledgeable and extremely helpful in trying to accommodate your every wish. The owners themselves are absolutely charming.
We spent 3 delightful nights in this property, enjoying the tranquil surroundings, the birdsong, the morning Yoga sessions with Raj and the stunning views. If you're in need of rest and a touch of luxury this is an ideal place for you.

A Jewel in the Crown of the Queens Meadows !!
The Resort is accessed after a 700 meter walk & climb from the road head (moderate climb).
At the end, you burst into Nature at its best. Well worth the trudge & sweat. The villas with balconies & tents are located in 10 acres, well spaced out, with a good view of the valleys and mountain range. All this, in the midst of a pine forest, with fruit trees, a beautiful collection of Rose plants, other exotic flowering plants and terraced gardening of organic vegetables.
The Villas are well appointed, comfortable, and attended to by an efficient housekeeping staff. The Resort has its their own dairy, grow organic vegetables or source it from the nearby village.
A bird watchers delight. At sunrise and thereafter, the whole day is filled with many species of birds twittering away with their own bird songs. Serene and tranquil, a place to chill with a book, take short walks in the pine forests, or just sit and gaze at Nature. Evenings spent around well organized bonfire pits, a medley of delectable eats. Listen to the night sounds as you turn in.
The staff are super efficient. A good shout for the Resort Manager Jagdeep Rawat assisted by Pankaj who coordinate the daily operations. A hassle free and seamless Checking In and Out. Not to forget their patience and desire to please even in difficult circumstances.
Needless to say, the F&B of the Resort matches the mood. Their Chefs Harish Joshi & Sunder Singh bringing out a medley of cuisines. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, they produce tasty, well presented and a wide variety of food to satisfy a discerning palate. A special mention for the Kumaoni Thali which was excellent. A good shout out to Vicky & Balwan serving you with a smile, be it room service or at the table. A difficult job managed efficiently.
A definite place to re-visit.

Lovely stay.. a Unique property
Very interesting concept of trek to property .. challenges you initially but makes it unigue and absorbing. The stay was comfortable with well appointed rooms with some very well laid out common areas like machan and bonfire pits. Food was nice and hygienic and staff was prompt to respond.All in all a first class stay, recommended.
