Hotel with Classy Colonial feel at budget price, right at Library Chowk - Mall Road.

Stayed in Deluxe Double Room # 101 across the compact reception & lobby area, on 1st floor. Special vibes fm the moment you step in at this property that gives classy colonial feel. All rooms offer lovely view of the mountains and valleys, even snow clad Himalayas seen at far distance. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds, wide windows, wall mounted 32" LCD TV, Intercom, Mini Fridge, Tea/Coffee maker with E-kettle, Sofa seats with coffee table, full sized wardrobe, 24 hrs hot shower. AC with Heating facility adds up as a special comfort when Mercury drops too low. Thanks to all staff members for their friendly support throughout the stay.
Breakfast is served at equally premium Tavern Restaurant of the property. We enjoyed every B'fast session watching the lively Library Chowk and the Library building & the surrounding scenic views, & listening to soft music. Buffet wasn't set up as it was off season, with few rooms booked on CP basis. But the table service offerings included yummy food as per choice viz. Puri Subzi, Parathas, Omlette Bread, Bread Butter Toast, Coffee etc. All services with a warm smile.
The Library Bus Stand is just 100 meters away. Buses to Dehradun leave every 30-45 minutes. While coming fm Dehradun, ensure the bus destination is Library Bus Stand as those buses transiting Dehradun may drop you at Picture Palace Bus Stand, located 2 Kms away ( By Cab, it's 4-5 Kms away, hence high cab fare reqd and drop off bus stand is important).
Gmvn bus tours start from a nearby spot. Bike rentals available fm Rs 500/- fr 12 hrs. Cab pick-up and drop off convenient. Excellent property for Mussoorie stay. Multiple restaurants and souvenir shops in close vicinity.Those interested in having authentic unlimited Gujarati Thali, visit Hotel Surichi, located 5-7 minutes walk along Mall Road. For rest snacks, Whispering Windows is a good option nearby.
It's actually worth 5* rating..One Star less for
# No parking facility
# No Garden area or Children Play area, as located directly on the busy Mall Road
# Live songs / music at their restaurant can be a little bit of annoyance in the evenings.
# Window AC was a bit noisy & an outdated technology. I believe higher floor rooms have been renovated with new Split AC's.
# No elevator facility on-site.
But will return to Imperial Square on every Mussoorie visit, a home away from home.

Wonderful stay

I chose this hotel because of its location. It’s just 100 meters from the bus stop and on the beginning of library road. The hotel was very clean, had good views from the windows and room service was great. And above all, the price was also normal ( approx 5K for 2 nights). Excellent location, very cooperative staffs ( special mention to Ritik for helping me find a scooty on rent) and good experience. I would like to give it 5 star rating and recommend others. Thankyou hotel imperial square.

Excellent stay at library chowk of mall road

Excellent stay at library chowk, on mall road. Car parking was unavailable however it's not a problem considering many paid parkings available as well as location of hotel with such nice view of mountains.
Food preparation was tasty, hotel staffs were courteous and helped so much. Good choice for vacation or holifays. Being on mall road, all items available just outside hotel.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience.

The busy square of Mussoorie is glorified by the imperilistic view of the hotel

Being an almost senior citizen, this is my 2nd solo trip.Here I felt very much homely with very sweet behaviour of all staffs. I enjoyed the early morning,sitting with a cup of tea (provided in the room) in front of the big glass window of my room and watching the mountains and the beautiful sky. At the time of breakfast and dinner,I used to sit in the last double sit of the restaurant,watching the people and scenary of the everytime busy Gandhi Chowk. The hotel is in the heart of the city and very near to the taxi and bus stand, and also 1.5 km from The Mall . From this place you can go to any places either by hiring scooty, cycle, taxi etc.
Rooms are fantastic,very spacious ,neat and clean with good wooden work. The toilet has got a separate bathing place which is very much unique. I like to have tea or coffee sometimes and tea bags and coffee satchel are provided in the room with hot kettle.
Food in the restaurant are delicious. Only thing is that breakfast starts from 8.30 am. As I am early riser,I felt hungry from 7 am
