最終的にオーナー様にご親切頂きとても助かました。ネット上の口コミが悪く不安がありました。折しもホーリー祭りの後だったので、宿の状況にも一抹の不安がありました。案の定、当日飛び入りと思われたのか「部屋はないよ」と言われ予約確認フォームを見せると、希望のドミトリーではなく「デラックスにするけど追加払ってくれる？」と言われたので「予算厳しいから無理だしソファーでも良いからドミトリーお願いします」と押し通しました。結果的に「ドミトリー汚いしスタッフと同室だから」と無料でアップグレードと水１本無料で頂きました。部屋はインドでは良い方だと思いますが、若干蚊が多かったです。後、サイトにあった朝食オプションは、そもそもなかったので、素泊まりがいいと思います。ひとまず良かったですし、親切頂いたのでお礼に評点高く書きましたが、実際こういうゴタゴタがあったので、お含みおき下さい。

Average stay....it could have been a better experience
The location of the hotel suited us as we had a long deluxe coach that we needed to be parked close to our hotel. The owner, Mr. Pandey and his family were nice to talk to.
Rooms are spacious, clean room floor and walls. Our room had 2 single sofa-cum-beds (nice condition). Bathroom was ok but quite small and dirty. Termite visible above the bathroom door (inside of the bathroom). Bucket, WC were dirty, tiles and sink were dirty. No geyser in the bathroom. Other room had the switch, still no hot water on day 2. I had to bathe with absolutely cold water. Room has a wooden table and no other facilities (electric kettle, glasses, chair). Hygiene should never be overlooked in this business but I guess Yogi ji needs to run multiple campaigns to make the hotel owners aware about the overall importance of tourism and hospitality.
The bathroom is at least 1 foot high from the room floor. There should be a wooden step to aid easy access to the bathroom. Senior citizens had a tough time with this, Whatever little problems we faced are due to poor understanding the local staff has for hospitality.
Linen was not clean, blanket on the bed and the extra blanket provided was terrible - dirty and shredding. We were 3 in a room and we kept requesting for 2 single extra blankets whole day only to get them on the next night after waiting whole day. The staff said " ruko warna baki sab bhi mangenge'.
I felt bad because we paid well and in winters, it is obvious people will need blankets. I am not even complaining about not getting a pillow for the 3rd person in the room. We managed with cushion. The owner let our cooks prepare meals on the terrace. For a space on terrace, we paid 5K though it was not a proper kitchen. Cemented floor with a few tables under a tin shed.
This hotel is at a quiet location - not many autos or rickshaws + no heavy traffic at all. To reach Kashi Vishwanath or ghats, one can get either one conveyance or hop on a couple of ricks. This was good in a sense. Hope the hotel owner will take cognisance of fixable issues and earn 4-5 star reviews.
