Good price

The staff was adorable, the room was clean and the breakfast not bad. The room didnt have an air conditioner but stay in Soe like a in mountain, cold. The location not far from the main line Kupang - Soe.

Nice and clean

Absolutely lovely staff, really smiley and friendly so felt at ease instantly. Perfectly clean rooms and fresh bottles of water everyday. Definitely no need for aircon it’s a cool climate, take a jumper! Only slight downfall is the freezing showers but maybe we’re just wimps!

Clean, basic city hotel

Good convenient location walking distance to the local market. The breakfast is simple but basic, unfortunately they do not open their restaurant for dinner. The Padang food across the street happened to be closed, so one of our party had to get a motorbike to Remaja restaurant to get take out for dinner. Two things to note, the wifi does not work on the 3rd floor, and while the bathroom is clean, there is no sink, and on checking found that none of the rooms in the hotel have sinks.

Little gem in Soe

Was here in Soe and booked this room for a night. Booking was made by phone and so easy. Located in front of the Pasar Soe but no noisy at all. Breakfast was so so, but much better from other hotel nearby. The hotel is clean and well mentained. You dont need aircon because its chill enough, maybe in summer or during afternoon.
Cons : the window is opened cause of the pipe of aircon. Means the mosquito can come in the room.

A great base

We stayed at the Dena while exploring nearby villages. Very friendly staff, the room was sparkling clean, and surrounded by warungs. I do recommend ear plugs though if you don’t want to be woken for the call to prayer from the nearby mosque.
