Great stay

Had a really pleasant stay at the Radisson Blu Cork. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and great service throughout. Everything was smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was all right, but not excellent. The location was decently convenient. The facility seemed dated.

It's okay

It's a nice hotel but make sure you get emailed confirmation when booking as they lost our reservation. Clean hotel with a modern foyer and a decent leaisure centre. They seem to have a lot of young staff that aren't fully sure of their roles. Restaurant is Okay but since we stay there regularly for work we've taken to going into Cork city more and more because the service in the restaurant isn't good enough, repeatedly having to ask for a wine list, delays in service, food is okay but basic. Breakfast is good.

I booked this hotel for my two children and I. We were given a disability room in very poor condition. Stained carpet, chair and dirty table. The shower was in bad condition with the tiling crumbling away. I immediately complained and was told they had no availability to move us. The next day I spoke with a manager, Amy. She apologised and said we could move later that day. I packed everything up and left our bags at reception. On our return we went to our new room, a business class one, apparently! While it was certainly better than our first room it wasn't great. More stained carpets and filthy chairs. I found a hardened pile of hair hardened on the bathroom floor. I tried to clean it with what I had. I couldn't get rid of it so I put the bin on top of it to hide it from my kids. I was surprised to see when the cleaner had been in they had moved the bin back and left the clump of hair! Between the rooms and the restaurant I don't think I sat on one clean chair in the place. We ordered room service one night. The staff member handed me the trays at the door, he then asked for the empty trays back. I asked what I should do with the plates after he got flustered with me, told me he's only been in the country four months and didn't know. Surely that is basic training staff receive?
The only positives were comfortable beds and a well maintained breakfast buffet. For the money we spent i was expecting a much higher standard. We certainly wong55be staying here on our next trip.

Great Stay

Me and my wife came and stayed the weeknd here and it was great, it was a great base for us to site see around cork, we had dinner the first night, our server was great despite the floor being busy, had a few drinks would at the bar. Would definitely be back down this way again.
