Gorgeous Red Sea View with a Balcony
We loved the location of the Orchid Hotel. It is outside the city, which makes it much quieter and more relaxing, while still being close to the aquarium and beautiful beaches. Swimming with incredible fish near Princess Beach was a highlight.
The reception team was extremely welcoming. They noticed that our two rooms were not assigned next to each other, which would have been difficult with the kids, and immediately jumped in to fix it. They did a fantastic job. We booked the Villa Ko Samui and a three-beds room oceanfront room for the kids, and thanks to Avi noticing the issue and relocating us, we received adjacent rooms 750 and 752. Avi, you rock!
Trafahun and Alfozo from security and the bell team also helped us with our heavy luggage, each way, which was not an easy task, and we really appreciated it.
The rooms were spacious, and the shower was amazing, large, with two shower heads and strong water pressure. The two large TVs were a nice upgrade from our last visit, and the view from the large balcony was second to none.
Breakfast was very good, and you can clearly see the investment the hotel has made. The breakfast team handles a lot: families, guests, food service, and constant activity, yet they always do it with a smile and a welcoming attitude.
The yard and wooden walkways could use some repair and maintenance. The outdoor area next to our room also needed better upkeep and cleanliness.
To the Orchid team: you rock. Thank you for having us.

The photos do NOT match reality – be careful!
We booked a Siam gallery private pool room for approximately $620 per night (about 2,300 ILS per night) based on the photos shown online. The room we received looked completely different from what was advertised. The hotel called it an “upgrade,” but it did not feel like one at all.
If you are booking this room because of the photos, think twice. The pictures do not accurately represent the room we received.

A really bad experience
We’ve had a really bad experience at this hotel. The service is terrible! The people who work here just don’t like their job and act like it. On top of that, we had a bad smell in the bathroom from the plumbing, and they didn’t offer us any solution or help.

Not recommended
Awful service. Chasing me around the hotel for technical payment even though I have provided my credit card twice (because the reception clerk had missed another technical charge on the already provided payment method) - the highlight was the manager insisting that I’ll get down and provide my credit card for the third time 22:30 the night before checkout.
Got the room with no drinking water after a long trip, food is average at best, room is falling apart (the bathroom door got stuck in locked so we had to call the maintenance guy), air conditioners are louder than Boeing jets, the rooms are maintained at a functional level only (and this as well is a compliment - no hot water to make coffee on Saturday)
Thee only positive (which has nothing to do with the hotel - is the location. A walking distance from the underwater observatory and the nature reserve).
I would stay away unless being close the the reef is your Main priority…

I have been many times at orchide in the past and it was great
At 4/8/2026 i was planning to go to sharm and i planned to stay a night at orchide to get rest a night before traveling to sharm
I have to mention that i were telling my family how great is orchide
And i checked at booking and found two siam rooms .
I arrived to hotel at 23:00 and checked in
When i arrived too rooms i found long hair on the ground and the rooms seemed not clean
I told my self its one night and tomorrow morning we are leaving
Even beds were not clean
We took to siam rooms with sea view ... and at morning i look from the terrace it was kitchen view with a very little sea view
We went to breakfast that was acceptable but not as good as it was at past
