Short vacation in Alghero

Stayed in this lovely hotel a stone's throw from the sea. I can only compliment the kitchen, which certainly in a difficult period managed to fully satisfy my tastes. The breakfast room was a bit chaotic given the many people, nice buffet of both sweet and savory items. As for dinner, compliments to the kitchen staff. I would go back, maybe not in July .

Extremely disappointing experience — Not recommended

I do not recommend this hotel.
The manager’s attitude towards guests is simply unacceptable. There was a complete lack of respect for my privacy and boundaries, and the way I was treated seriously disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday.
The rooms are very small, and the hotel is clearly in need of a thorough renovation. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Beach holiday

Great location for beach and 20 mins to old town. Clean and comfortable with a lovely pool. Traditional style and great value.

More than a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, as of today it is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ that has not yet grown up

I must premise that I would return to the Rina because I had a good experience; all the staff from the reception to the restaurant hall attendants (I only went there for breakfast) up to the cleaning staff are truly pricelessly kind. I really appreciated the fact that the property has very recently renovated the rooms, but undoubtedly some work is still missing; at least the restaurant hall should also be modernized. Room was impeccably clean, but a bit small for a standard double used as a single. I believe that a 4* hotel in 2026 cannot afford not to have an electronic key instead of a physical key to access the room, while at the same time finding it paradoxical that there is an electronic card but only for charging any extras taken at the bar. Secondly, in the modernized bathroom complete with a "walk-in" shower, the bathroom products should be supplemented; 2 bars of soap are a bit too few, and then a dispenser would also be needed near the bidet. Finally, a small note on breakfast: it is certainly varied but at the same time repetitive; some different pastries from one morning to the next would be nice to see and taste. I realize that the renovation was particularly demanding, but I hope that these notes of mine are taken as a starting point to improve the experience even more.

Reasonable

Great hotel .
Good room, good bed, good shower, spacious balcony.
Reasonably large pool, very uncozy.
Beet €5.50.
In the beach bar on the beach you pay €2.50.
Breakfast inside a room, terribly unsociable too.
Breakfast was otherwise fine but not great.
Opposite the hotel is a supermarket where you can get really good freshly made sandwiches and not expensive.
Hotel is 1 block away from the beach so that's perfect,
All in all fine for a few days but I wouldn't go there again.
