Shall we take a walk around Cavaso?

November 9, morning warmed by a beautiful sun, it's time for an aperitif, which we take sitting outside on the veranda of this historic inn. Then we sit down for lunch in the fireplace room and savor some dishes that are served to us with the right timing and professionalism by a young waitress.
The Supreme duck with orange and the porcini heads on the Morlacco bed, superlative dishes. Returning here is always a pleasure, for hospitality and courtesy as well as for the quality of what is served.

Hospitality, care and kindness

Hospitality, care, kindness are the first words that come to me.
Everything is taken care of, clean, in order: everything says that there is love. Raffaella makes you feel immediately at home and the first thing she does when you arrive, she takes you to your room (she doesn't ask you for your documents straight away, there's time later to check in, in the meantime you have to recover from the trip...).
The restaurant is also well looked after. Home cooking, genuine and very good. The wines are also excellent.
It may be a two-star inn but for us it is a firmament. Well done!!

Excellent Ambiance and optimum hospitality

If you want to experience at least a part of the story of Veneto Region, this is a place to stay. Iaddition, you live the reality of today’s people since they come for drinks. We talked with a very nice gentleman of the area and he even offered us to drink at the bar. The rooms are clean and orderly. The staff involved and friendly. Breakfast was also included and good. The price was incredibly reasonable for the experience lived.

Such a lovely place

Really enjoyed our stay here. The owner is great! Friendly, helpful and fun. The food is good, service is great and it is a really nice place to stay when visiting the area. I highly recommend staying here.

Una locanda che ti fa tornare indietro nella storia

Come dice il nome non si tratta di un albergo ma di una locanda.
La nostra camera era una tripla, grande e spaziosa, situata all'ultimo piano, con un grande letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo (letto vero, non una poltrona letto o un divano letto).
In camera presenti mobili antichi ma molto ben tenuti ed eravamo un po' intimoriti nell'utilizzarli.
Non c'è l'aria condizionata ma avevamo un condizionatore portatile tipo "pinguino", che la notte dovevamo spegnere perché rumoroso.
Purtroppo siamo capitati nei giorni un cui faceva caldo in ogni luogo d'Italia e dovendo spegnere il condizionatore di notte, abbiamo sofferto il caldo.
Il bagno era un po' piccolo ma bisogna anche tenere conto che la struttura è antica e per ogni lavoro e ogni miglioria servono molti permessi.
la locanda dispone di un ampio parcheggio gratuito e si affaccia sulla piazza principale del paese.
Come luogo per riposare per poi avventurarsi nella visita delle zone vicine o per escursioni sulle trincee della Grande Guerra è il luogo ideale.
La colazione è abbondante, sia dolce che salata, in una sala appositamente allestita.
Nei tre piani della locanda ci sono molti mobili e oggetti antichi che mi hanno riportato indietro nel tempo.
Molto gentile e disponibile la proprietaria e sempre con il sorriso.
