Very welcoming, comfortable, very kind owner, helpful and welcoming.
Breathtaking scenery on Mount Hood and very pleasant gardens and pergola.
Good food, tasty very recommended

I would not return…

First evening of our trip (two couples) in western Sicily. Warm welcome from V. Pleasant accommodation in a structure converted from the original country house. We are in a rather desolate area, with some villas nearby. Exhausted from the long journey, we decided to stop for dinner, and that is where everything that could go wrong began: the appetizers were barely acceptable, the seafood couscous (seafood? There was no trace of fish in it..) then a sea bream ordered turned into a whole bass served at the table, which was then reduced to a mess of fish fillet scraps and bones by someone who absolutely does not know how to clean a fish (then excluded from the bill, but that is not enough…) Conclusion: if the accommodation, even in a place that we cannot define as pleasant, can be accepted (but there are B&Bs nearby at half the cost paid here), the dinner, at least for what was our experience, is absolutely not recommended.

la ringrazio per aver condiviso la sua esperienza: ogni punto di vista è utile, anche quando nasce da un viaggio iniziato… con evidente stanchezza.
Mi permetto però di chiarire alcuni dettagli, così da offrire a chi legge un quadro più completo.
Il cous cous “di pesce” è stato servito secondo la tradizione trapanese: il pesce non viene presentato “nel mezzo”, ma utilizzato per preparare il brodo di cottura. È una ricetta antica, non un gioco di prestigio. Avevamo anche proposto i calamari fritti — come da usanza locale — ma non sono stati graditi.
Riguardo al pesce servito a tavola:
l’orata era… un’orata. Capita che, quando non si è abituati a riconoscerla, possa sembrare altro. È stata richiesta espressamente la pulizia al tavolo, e l’abbiamo fatta con cura. Il fatto che fosse “non integra” dipende dalla cottura in zuppa, necessaria proprio per il cous cous. Nessuna magia, solo cucina.
Mi fa piacere che abbiate apprezzato la sistemazione, pur trovandovi in quella che definite una “landa desolata”: un luogo che molti scelgono proprio per la sua quiete, lontano dal traffico cittadino che, a quanto pare, vi è più congeniale.
Il disagio, lo ammetto con sincerità, è stato reciproco: vedere ospiti così sofferenti mette tristezza, e sono felice che abbiate potuto ritrovare serenità altrove.
Auguro a voi e alle vostre future vacanze un percorso più sereno, magari in luoghi meno “desolati” e più affini al vostro spirito urbano.

Wonderful experience to replicate

With my family we spent the weekend in this lovely place and were fully satisfied. Valentina, the owner, welcomed us and made our stay very pleasant and healthy also preparing breakfasts with homemade cakes, fresh local fruit and there was also the possibility of making a savory breakfast. The rooms are very nice and characteristic, equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, hairdryer, TV and fridge. We were really happy with the cleanliness and hygiene not only of the rooms but of all environments. The location of the hotel is optimal, surrounded by greenery and with beautiful panoramic views 2 minutes drive from the sea and for those who like to walk like us a ten minute walk. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Bay of Cornino

Cozy structure on the slopes of Monte Cofano, excellently managed by Mrs. Valentina. Excellent breakfast prepared daily by the owner; it is possible on request to have lunch and dinner with an agreed menu in the morning. Highly recommended!!!

Stay for work

I was looking for a quiet place to do my job. I found a superlative welcome in the person of Valentina who runs the facility impeccably, I was pampered with an excellent home catering service; the almond cookies made by Valentina won me over and made me feel at home. I was able to work serenely thanks to the quiet atmosphere and peace of the place far enough from the houses and the street. I saw breathtaking sunsets over the horn bay with bonnet mountain as a backdrop. Recommended for everyone, families with children, singles, and business people. Super!
