poor management of the reservation
A week in advance I contacted the property because, due to work commitments, I could not leave. Although aware of the non-refundability, I asked at least the possibility of letting my mother enjoy the stay. I was instead proposed to change the dates and, on their explicit indication, I cancelled the reservation on Booking.
Only after the cancellation was I informed that the only availability was April 17. It is frankly hard to believe that, from the end of January to mid-April, there was no alternative, even on weekdays.
In the following months I tried several times to contact them to find a solution, without success: the answer was always that the structure was fully booked.
Today I was contacted with a hasty and unprofessional tone, to be told that the restaurants are closed and that it is no longer possible to ski, inviting me in fact to permanently give up booking. As if that wasn’t enough, during the conversation I was also insulted via voicemails, being called “ridiculous” and mocked for pointing out that I would tell what happened in a review.
The result is that I lost the entire amount without being able to use even one night. Even more serious is the fact that I was openly told that even in the years before the season ended earlier: so it was perfectly predictable that the proposed date would not really be usable.
The feeling is that of a lack of transparency in the management of the booking and a totally disrespectful attitude towards the customer. Definitely negative experience from every point of view.
I recommend taking great care in managing reservations with this property.
