Family run hotel

Simple but functional and clean double room, comfortable mattress. Air conditioning, TV and small terrace (Room 21). Hair dryer, soaps and towels, daily cleaning of the room. Nice owner. We had no problems parking on the street.
We had lunch at a fixed price simple but good dishes.
Breakfast cappuccino + briosche 2,50euro
The only drawback early in the morning in the inner courtyard car noises and doorman slamming.

A good Hotel

Small family-run hotel. I stayed in this hotel for one night and also had dinner. The Hotel is small but well kept. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The only thing in the corridors is no light but small spotlights perhaps to save electricity. The general light is managed by the management. Breakfast is poor: there is no buffet but you are asked what you want including croissants, yoghurt, fruit juices, tea and latte. I asked for biscuits with butter and jam and they got them for me with great difficulty. No placemat for breakfast, but the bare table. Dinner wasn't bad: penne pancetta, cream and saffron and roast tip with baked potatoes. The dessert is excellent: cream with berries. The house white wine is also excellent.

good hotel

Family hotel, comfortable, clean and well located. I was passing through, out of personal and sentimental interest, but it is not a town to visit or do tourism.
Very friendly, attentive and willing staff.
Good breakfast, it also has a restaurant. Recommendable!

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is run by an old couple that clearly hate their work and are far away from the charming italian grandparents you would picture..
I had the bad luck to have exactly 24' of delay with my flight. So instead of arriving 23:45 as anticipated to the hotel, I arrived at 00:25 driving my unfamiliar rental and through the summer rain...
When i finally manage to find the hotel, all the signs turned off during the night, I was a bit scared to find everything closed and lights off. I found a doorbell and rang hoping to get sombody's attention. Was I not expecting 15 minutes of retaliation from the owner at the door, avoiding for me to come in before I had ask for forgiveness.
But when I told him that as written in my reservation i had a car and need to park it in their guests reserved area that was too much for him. and he literally told me to do it by myself while he resorts the computers to do my check-in.... (the parking is actually not a parking, you have to squeeze you car against a wall facing 3 parking boxes owned by the families living in the building next-door...)
I did not deserve the treatment I received and I will definitely never stay again there.
*The rooms are super old with sheets that look to have been intensely washed for 40 years and the air condition makes so much noise I preferred to sleep with the window opened..

great stay for monza F1

we stayed here for 3 nights 6th -- 9th september 2103
the owners are lovely people and made us very welcome, they really did go out of their way to make us feel at home.
we ate in the restaurant and the food was great real italian cusine
this was just a great little local hotel with nice people
