The mattress was terrible. Springs were in you ribs all night. Could not sleep
No tissues, no proper soaps nothing like in the pictures on line. Tried to collect twice the taxes and in Canadian dollars.

Check facilities before tou check in

Sorry to have to write this review but feel people need to know and not have to experience the same as we did
We were unable to check in til after 3pm the heat this day was 33' when we arrived in our room the aircon and the fridge both didn't work in room 204
The temp in our room was 29' all night it was horrendous and no sleep had
I suggest you get both served orange hotel!
The room itself was tidy and location is close to Vatican and café but other then that a bad experience

Shocking 1 Star hotel

Shocking 1 star hotel, aircon didn’t work, fridge didn’t work , rooms small more like a hostel, situated on busiest corner in Rome (don’t expect to get any sleep) and lift for luggage wasn’t going when we checked out

Disappointing, tired hotel with no restaurant and very few other facilities.

Whilst the location is close to the Vatican, the hotel facilities are minimal and the rooftop restaurant is CLOSED and has been since COVID, we were told - this should be removed from their advertising literature as it is misleading. The room was basic and grubby, the bed was very hard and the soap dispensers in the basin and shower were broken. The 'lounge' was a jumble of old battered chairs in a small dark room with peeling wallpaper. There were no tea and coffee facilities and breakfast was off-site . Also, access into the hotel is via steep steps. I would not recommend.

More of a hostel than a hotel

A rather bad hotel that is saved by its location and the reception service. Everything else was very bad. Uncomfortable bed (two mattresses joined together), pillow too thick at 5 cm. Bathroom that gets clogged. Intermittent wifi and hot water. Noisy air conditioning, and you can hear a lot from the outside and other rooms. Not at all 4 stars as advertised.
