I can't relax at all

First of all, when I parked my car in the parking lot, no one came to greet me. No one saw me off.
On the contrary, as other reviews have said, the owner's house is right next to the inn, but even though it was long past check-in time, the landlady was sitting on the sofa in the living room watching TV.
And right next to my car in the parking lot, the owner's child? was playing catch with a hard baseball, but no one warned him.
The most important thing is that I booked a room with an open-air bath, but the room was old overall, with only a small Goemon-like bath.
The worst thing was that from the evening until around 1 a.m., and from around 6 a.m., the sound of children jumping and running around in the room above continued to echo.
I called the front desk about it, but they didn't answer the phone at all, and when they finally did answer, there was no apology or warning, and the footsteps didn't stop.
The room above was occupied by a family of five, consisting of a mother and her three elementary school-aged children, who were running around the dining area flapping their slippers and causing other guests to complain about how noisy they were, but no one at the inn said a word.
In the end, we weren't able to relax at all, and when we paid the bill on our way out, the landlady didn't apologize, and there was no reply to any emails I sent after we got home.
And the crab itself, even if it was from Russia, cost tens of thousands of yen.
I've stayed at many inns for crab, but this was the first time I'd ever experienced such dishonest inn.

Good for the food, fair for the rest

I came here with my wife coz we wanted to have some crabs before the season to end. The whole thing was fairly pricey but if you look at all the food that was served you will realize it was indeed worth it.
The position is secluded, so arrange to come here by car (if you can drive in japan).
The view from the room is on the port: cute, with a very local taste.
Our room was on the third floor: very quiet and pretty large. The bathroom was indeed not an Onsen or Routenburou (which usually is meant to be set on the outside) but a bathtub inside the room, shielded with a glass window from the outside. It was fine by me, because especially on that day there was a very strong wind and rain, so a bath on the outside would have been impossible to enjoy.
This place is good to try out, but just once.
PS: let me repeat that crabs were fabulous!

Relaxing stay with private hot spring in the room

We spent two nights in this little hotel. We felt it's more like an high-end guesthouse rather than a hotel, as there should be not more than 12 rooms in this tiny hotel.
The hotel is not located at main road. Rent a smaller car if you are thinking to book this hotel.
The private hot spring in the room was fair. Don't expect a very decent one. But, it's good enough for you to enjoy and relax.
Dinner in this hotel was very good. All seafoods were very fresh. As you can order the foods at your own choice, at different prices, don't hesitate to order the more pricey items. You would be surprised to the freshness and taste!
Alike other hot spring hotel, they only serve breakfast in Japanese style. Be prepared to have a very classic one. You can ask them for some ham and eggs if you are not comfortable with (purely) classic/traditional Japanese breakfast.
Overall comment: Very quiet neighbourhood. Take it as a retreat!
