Location A very nice option for those who like to be on the move! Hotel «Apartmani Zekan» is located in Split. This hotel is located in the city center. Before going to bed, you can take a walk and enjoy the main landmarks of the city. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Bacvice Beach, Split Marina and Zvoncac Bay Beach.At the hotel Wi-Fi is available on the premises. Ask for more information when checking-in. If you travel by car, there’s a parking zone.

Beautiful apartment and great location
The owner is a delightful man, who takes the time to tell you about all the close sites/attractions, the bus schedules , where to find a laundry and the best beaches.
We really enjoyed our 4 days in Split staying at this apartment. It is spotlessly clean and fresh. Highly recommend.

Great Studio Apartment
The owner gave us a map of the area and explained all the points of interest in the location, recomending restaurants shops etc. He also answered ll our questions and gave us some advice on things to do.
Soon after our room was ready and we were given the key and advised about the hot water and room facilities.
The room although compact is very well equipped. I have seen it described as a long corridoor which I would not entirely agree with although would understand the comment.
The owner has said that the veranda upstairs was available to use which was equppd with complimentry aperitiff drinks, together with the seat directly outside the studio apartment.
The studio has two doors one which opens to the courtyard and gives access to the veranda and the other one opens on to the alley in which the studio is located and fe feet of of one of the main streets.
Viewing the room from the alley door entrance, on the left is sufficient wardrobe space for two people with shelves and extra blankets etc. On the right is shelving and decor. You then walk in further to find single beds and a tv on the right hand wall, both sides of the bed are two drawers. You then have a small dining area with a table and two chairs followed by a small kitchen area with hob and plenty of cooking utensils and crockerty etc. To the right of this is a narrow bathroom area with a toilet sink and shower, this also has lots of shelves and decor and includes a hair dryer.
Final thoughts the room is compact but completely serviceable for two people with more than enough storage space, cooking utensils etc, a microwave would have been helpful but space is limited hence the lack of I suspect but maybe could be wall mounted.
The only disappointment was that there was no cleaning or linen changed throughout the week we stayed.
However would still highly recomend this for a couple wanting. to stay in Split.

Upstairs Apartment is very good but.....
The good:
Friendly welcome and helpful advice from the property owners
Apartment very well equipped including a safe, washing machine, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses etc
The location is tremendous - very close to all the city's main attractions - though beaches were a 20 minute walk away (not an issue for us as we didn't use them)
Comfortable bed - the most important thing for us!
Effective air conditioning - though when we stayed we used it to warm the place up as much as cool it down as weather was not great!
The not so good:
The apartment is quite dark and the bedroom a little stuffy as there are only very small windows
The sink was in a corner which made washing up a little uncomfortable
Building work either side (this of course cannot be helped in a city that is obviously booming but more sound insulation would have helped as mentioned in my friend's review below)
The bad:
As also mentioned below one of the downstairs apartment isn't really suited for a long stay - we booked through Easy Jet and there was no indication of the disparity between the accommodation - we knew the apartment would be bigger but it really was in a different league to that studio
So overall I'd recommend staying here if you can get the upstairs apartment or possibly the better downstairs studio but it is better suited for a short stay rather than the two weeks we stayed there.
Split is a superb city and this is a great location to discover it from with the caveats I have mentioned above
