A Good Base For The Area
I booked here because I got a good price and the location was good. I wanted to stay close to the airport (I arrived late in the evening) and central to places such as Pretty Bay, St Peter's Pool, Blue Grotto, Mdina and Dingli Cliffs - as it turned out the location was excellent for that.
I arrived late at night but had been emailed instructions as to how to enter the property. The instructions once I found the door were excellent but to find the block of apartments was a little harder. Parking was a challenge as only street parking is provided and you have to do some searching to find a spot. There are no staff at the hotel so everything is done remotely, for example the keys are left in a safety box and you are emailed the security code for access to the keys.
As said this is not a hotel, rather a private apartment. Once inside you have a shared kitchen and seating area, each room is essentially a bedroom that you can lock. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked in good repair and came with a lot of the things you might need if you want to use it. If you pay for a private bathroom then you will get the key to the main bathroom down the hallway - it is not attached to your room but is locked for your use only. The bathroom is modern with a bath and plenty of space.
The bedroom is great, beds are comfortable, air conditioning works perfectly (you get a remote so you can set it as you please), the wi-fi was excellent and you get a couple of bottles of water left for you as well as a bun for breakfast. A kettle is provided along with some coffee/tea. There is also a small fridge which I found handy as I could keep my water cool during my stay.
I was very happy with my stay although not having the bathroom attached took some getting use to. The price was good and the benefit for me was that if I had any problems getting the rental car from the airport I could have walked here (it would take between 30-40 minutes).
I as pleased with my stay and found it to be a good base for my travels.

Comfortable and clean
Very clean, comfortable accomodation, close to airport. Easy comunication with the owner who replied very quickly to all my messages/emails. Very special treat when we arrived and there were croissants, water and coffee/tea in our room. Easy instructions for check in. Will recommend to all friends and family visiting Malta.

Worst experience in my life
Please, don’t go
You can go to any guesthouse, hotel ... anywhere... and to pay a taxi to get the airport . It’s horrible and very expensive.

Comodo per andare/venire dall'areoporto
Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte in questa struttura, scegliendo la camera con bagno privato, al prezzo di 66.
Impressione un po' diversa dall'altra recensione, forse dovuta anche al periodo: noi siamo capitati a gennaio, in pieno inverno e con meno turisti.
L'appartamento era comunque tutto pieno, ma ospiti molto discreti. A piano terra, macchie di umidità. Non proprio il massimo, ma funzionale al suo scopo.
Noi venivamo da Gozo e ci serviva un posto dove dormire per poter partire il giorno dopo presto.
Con una valigia al seguito ci si impiega circa una ventina di minuti (mezz'ora al massimo) a piedi. Vicino c'è anche la fermata dell'autobus che porta all'areoporto, ma considerato che è una delle ultime fermate il bus potrebbe arrivare pieno e non far salire più nessuno (dipende molto dal periodo in cui si viaggia).
C'era una sola stufetta per scaldare le camere che ci siamo divisi a turno per qualche ora. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto: cucina, lavatrice, asciugatrice, ferro da stiro. In camera trovi un pieghevole ben dettagliato sugli autobus e le fermate.
Vicino c'è anche la fermata del bus che porta a Valletta e da li si può girare tutta Malta.
Se non si è tipi molto esigenti (mancanza di vista, condivisione di spazi con altre persone) può essere una soluzione economica anche per soggiorni più lunghi, considerato che è dotato di cucina e ci si può organizzare.
La colazione è scarsa.
Noi abbiamo avuto un problema nell'interpretare le istruzioni per accedere all'appartamento (tutto automatizzato, senza contatto umano) e la signora è corsa subito in nostro aiuto.
Insomma non proprio male.
