A little piece of Paradise!
Still under the spell of this unforgettable stay! This place is magical; it is a true haven of peace! This hotel is neither the most luxurious nor the most modern, but it is, by far, the most beautiful, the most authentic, and the most harmonious! Jezabel, smiling and considerate, welcomes travelers in this former farmhouse that has been completely redesigned and rebuilt on a human scale to provide visitors with an immediate sense of well-being and peace.
The decor is superb, reflecting authenticity and attention to detail.
The rooms are very spacious, very clean, simple and elegant, and the bedding is of very good quality.
The breakfast buffet is excellent, plentiful, and very varied; there is something for everyone, and every day, in addition to the freshly picked blackberries from the garden, there are different nods to local products! A delight! The staff, whom you will mainly encounter on this occasion, is efficient, friendly, and discreet. Thank you to Jezabel, who is also very good at giving advice, for this enchanted interlude!! I highly recommend it!!

Ghost hotel
The only positive points are the quiet, if you ask for a room facing the garden, and the breakfast, which is hearty and varied. Regarding the rest, we did not understand the very glowing reviews published on the site. We were received, not welcomed, by a silent receptionist who must have been annoyed at having had to stay longer than expected at the front desk; the hotel being very poorly marked, we lost a lot of time finding it. The room, a superior deluxe with a terrace, turned out to be quite small, the bathroom was tiny, and the terrace was a balcony. The mattress was more than firm and the pillows were very hard. The air conditioning is also very noisy. We did not get a warm welcome; we caught a glimpse of the owner in his office in the morning. During our 3-night stay, we saw no one except the cook at breakfast and two servers. Everyone praises Jezabel's kindness; she was certainly on vacation during our stay.

Sensational breakfast, stylishly restored building
We were warmly welcomed at very short notice after fleeing a disappointing accommodation in Marsaxlokk. Value for money was excellent. We enjoyed a nice and pikkobello clean room with windows in the bathroom, a permanent place in the underground garage and a sensational breakfast. You could feel everywhere how much love was put into the restoration of this old building, which also put a lot of emphasis on sustainability. The location of the hotel was also very suitable for us, because the bus to Valletta practically left on the doorstep. When booking, you should only take care to take a room towards the garden. Unfortunately, it was still a bit fresh during our stay in the evening - in the summer it is certainly very cozy in the courtyard.

Perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay
Stayed here as part of a retreat, and wow! I had no idea that there was such a place in Żabbar. The building is very old but it is kept so beautifully! The character of the place was kept while refurbishing it with modern comforts and stylish decor that complements the building perfectly. The rooms and spa were clean and very comfortable. Drinking water available all the time. The food here is so so so good! Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was awesome with savoury, sweet, cold, and hot options. Gluten free food and lactose-free accomodations were provided. The courtyards and garden were such a treat! The weather was great so we made full use of them, sitting under the trees or on the outdoor sofas, enjoying the quiet location and the lovely birdsong.

Best place to stay in Malta!
My wife and I and another couple stayed here for 4 days in early May, 2025 while we toured Malta. We didn't want to leave! The owner, Aaron, is an architect and master mason who spent 10 years converting and expanding an old farmstead into this delightful hideaway that is so quiet and comfortable. The rooms surround a peaceful courtyard with beautiful stone archways everywhere. Out back is a garden and orchard to explore. The rooms and furnishings are beautifully designed and state of the art, with modern plumbing and comfortable beds. And, Oh, the feng shui!. The breakfasts, as others have said, are extensive and delicious. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. And, if you can, ask Aaron to show you his secret underground chambers!
