This motel had the best service of any place I have stayed. The facilities are dated bit in the process of renovation. The attentive and kind service is what set it apart.

Friendly owner but grounds and drainage need work

About 2.5km away from Yangon Airport (domestic and international), we stayed here cuz Yangon Airport Hotel did not have sufficient rooms for our group and we just needed one night's transit stay. From airport, taxi price is about 7000 kyats (though one did go for 6000), however from this hotel to airport, it was only 2,500 to 3000 kyats. After having spent few days in Yangon, I learned that for a distance of about 2.5km, 3,000 kyats is actually about right (as that is the price taxis will quote you even in the city centre for the same distance) so try to stand your ground and find a taxi from airport to this hotel for 3,000 max 5,000 kyats (the latter already being very generous).
Hotel grounds need work as the garden was barren and not green but rather mostly dirt soil and looked run down. The room was decent, however, drainage did not work so water from the night's shower did not drain AT ALL so it was flooded in the morning - hence I decided not to take a quick morning shower in the end before heading to the airport.

Unfortunately, the room that I was given was pretty bad (room 407).
Wifi did not work.
Shower drain did not drain, the bathroom flooded.
The AC did not work.
Room had a strong odor (smelled something like moth balls or insect repellent)
On the positive side the staff were very friendly.

Best motel I visited

It's a nice hotel the owner is also super friendly . He and his wife will spend time talking to you about places you should go and you should take up on their advice . They have a granddaughter that love animal and there is a pond that you can ask if you are allowed to feed fishes and they will willing give you fish food and you can spend quality time there also there is 2 cute white rabbit . The staff are hardworking even though they can't understand English very well they will try their best to help you . Even thought it is far away from the city if you are here from some R&R you will enjoy the time here . If you need help all you need to do is ask them and they will give you a helping hand . If you want to know more you should talk to them and know more I truly think that you will not be disappointed i asked for the hotel's phone number should you have any other enquires 01705767

The hotel locates near the airport rather than downtown, it is better for overnight travellers to live in.
