A lovely little spot with a great atmosphere

A very attentive, friendly team catered to our every need.
It’s very clean, pretty, tidy and, in fact, very atmospheric with a lovely ambience. Someone has really paid attention to the finer details here.
It’s just that sometimes the smell of the wood – which appears to have been treated with tar oil – is a bit off-putting, if not downright overpowering.

A perfect place to start and end a Namibia road trip

We stayed at Urban Camp for one night at the beginning of our Namibia trip and again for one night before flying home. It was the perfect choice for both occasions.
The campsite is very clean, quiet, and extremely well maintained. The individual camping sites are nicely designed with plenty of trees and plants, giving you a lot of privacy. Each site has everything you need, including a table and enough space to park your vehicle comfortably.
The ablution facilities are modern and spotless, and the restaurant serves very good food. After a long flight or at the end of an amazing road trip, it is great to have everything in one place.
One of the biggest advantages is the location. Being in Windhoek makes it very convenient for picking up or returning your rental car, doing some last-minute shopping, or simply relaxing before or after your journey.
We really enjoyed both of our stays and felt very comfortable. We will definitely stay at Urban Camp again on our next visit to Namibia. Highly recommended!

Oasis in the midst of Windhoek.

Perfect overnight option in Windhoek, very clean camp/glamping, very friendly and accommodating staff, very tastefully and lovingly furnished. City center within walking distance, for us it was the perfect choice.
