Clean room, staff are welcoming though no free self parking available onsite. Rooms are spacious, comfy bed and decent sized bathroom, doesn’t feel too cramped.

Avoid at all costs!

We arrived at the hotel after 4pm only to realise its was outside working hours! 4pm! No one was at reception and we had to call through some help desk only to be told our key card and Instructions for parking were in an envelope on the front desk. Unprofessional!
When we got to our room the key card wouldnt work. I went down to reception and used the phone to call the help desk. When I explained the key card would not work, they told me I had been swiping it incorrectly. I then went back to the room tried every which angle I could to no avail.
I then went back and called help desk once again. This time a different person, proceeds to tell me to hold the key card in place on the reader. With growing frustration I and went back to the room and did exactly that. Still didnt work! Im no stranger to hotels and Im confident at this stage that someone from this establishment needs to address the situation.
For the 3rd time I went back to reception, dialed the help desk again. Explained my predicament to a 3rd (different) person who then puts me on hold for a considerable amount of time. He then takes me off hold only to tell me that the duty manager is not picking up his phone and he has left a message with him to call me! Now what? I asked him so what shall we do? Sit outside our hotel room with all our luggage until the duty manager calls/arrives?? And for how long? He then apologises and tells me there is nothing more he can do! I hung up, just absolutely gob smacked.
We left the hotel at that point in disbelief. Exhausted from a long day we found a lovely room at the Novotel thank god. As I am writing this two days later, I have had not had one response from this hotel for an apology or a refund.
What baffles me is that no manager called us that evening... so we would never had received the help we needed that night.
DO NOT STAY HERE!

The Questcwas a perfect base for us to work from whilst in Hamilton. The are is not thegreatest at night and although there are some food options in the are, it was quiet and not the greatest.
Walkingbto Sky City is easy butbthe cbd streets are littered with homeless people so it wass a bit uncomfortable.
If not for the area the hotel would rate 4 on every aspect

Check in closed at 4pm - it seems a little early for people who are travelling. Reception had been informed we would arrive later than 4pm and a parking spot was booked.
On arrival we received an envelope with our details. A parking place had NOT been reserved as requested. Emergency receptionist was contacted but told that no reservation had been made and the car park was full. We had to park in a nearby paid parking station. On checking out I was informed that a parking spot HAD been reserved for us. I was assured the parking fee would be removed from our bill.
On arrival at our room our room keycard did not work. The duty manager was notified and arrived 30 minutes later to resolve the issue. Once in our room, everything was great, nice room with good amenities.
I would be happy to recommend the property as it is very central with good amenities. It would have been even better if the administrative aspects had run more smoothly as we had travelled nearly 5hrs so the delays were somewhat frustrating.

Nice size room with seperate bedroom and bathroom. Ok to spread out. Location is close to shops and some restaurants.
Bit dated and no real amenities to offer.
