Fantastic service

Fantastic place and incredibly good service. The woman who runs it is super nice and welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy and there was a good selection in the 24-hour shop. We would love to go back here. Greetings to two cheerful southerners who were on a camping trip.

Easy booking, pleasant service, low standards on the cabin.

Easy order via website. Very helpful and nice service which also accompanied with a telf for information on the day of arrival. The place had a self-service shop if you should have forgotten something. We rented a minimalist cottage without insulated water Here it could successfully be done a little to make the cottage a little more pleasant and appealing. There was also a strange smell inside the cabin. There was sparkling on the wall that could indicate that there had been moisture damage that had been patched on. With the standard that was in the cabin the price could well have been halved.

Good camping and great staff.

Stayed one night in a 4 bed cabin. Good location 15 minutes from Boe and Sommarland.
Our cabin was very simple but with basic needs: fridge, hot plate, knifes and forks, cups and plates and free wifi.
The sanitary facilities are brand new and very nice.
The camping had anniversary when we were there and they had a barbecue with free food and drinks and games for all the guests. Very nice.
Enjoyed our stay very much.

Super friendly staff at a beautiful location

We spent one night here during our motorcycle trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful both when we did our booking and when we arrived. On the grounds there was a new sanitary facility which was clean and in every other way very nice!
We rented the cheapest available cabin and it was ok for 1 night. Just remember to turn on the heat!
The only drawback for this place is its location, its about 20 minutes from Seljord so if you want to go to a restaurant and have a couple of beers, the taxi ride is a bit pricey. On the other hand, if you don't need to go out for food and drinks the surrounding area is beautiful and very calm, so for a couples or a family trip it's perfect!

Føler oss litt snytt...

Med store forventninger til "et av Norges flotteste sanitærbygg", bestemte vi oss for å prøve ett par netter her. Vi har vært på endel campinger og er litt sære så dette gledet vi oss til. Møtte på en kjempehyggelig mann på tlf som hjalp til med innsjekk da vi ville ha en plass som ikke kom opp på onlinebooking. Fikk en nydelig plass ved elva.
Plassen er kjempefin og det er genialt med døgnåpen og velutstyrt butikk. Stille og rolig.
Men så kommer vi til sanitæranlegget... vi har vært på Norges flotteste sanitæranlegg og det er på Jølstraholmen. Det er noe av det lekreste og mest kundevennlige jeg har sett av anlegg. Det som er på Hegna, er et godt stykke unna det... det er rent og pent, men det skal det jo være uansett mener vi. Åpne toalettbåser gir ikke rom for mye privatliv og er en uting på mange campinger. Det er ikke bedre her. Og 40(!) Kr for en dusj på 4(!) minutter er vanskelig å forsvare!
Forventet også at det skulle være et kjøkken her, noe det ikke er. Det jeg trodde var en sløyebenk, var et sted å ta oppvasken. Så det å påstå at de har ett av Norges flotteste sanitæranlegg, er å strekke det veldig langt.
Men vi har senket skuldrene og fått litt fisk. Bare synd den er full av bendelorm og måkeparasitter...
