Fjord Camping

We spent 2 nights at the campsite. It was very clean, the location is top and the host is just great. We felt very comfortable and also rented a boat at Thorsten including insider tips for successful fishing. We will definitely come back.

At the end of the day we noticed the designation of this campsite.

We were looking for an overnight stay with our camper for one or more nights. Not a bad choice, wonderfully quiet, after a German family with three children, who were here before us, had left. Reasonable toilet block, right behind our camper, nice and easy, but with super awkward machines, where you had to buy a ticket and top up every time at the reception, which was only open to a limited extent. There was regular cleaning, which is a plus. We could also order sandwiches in advance.
We ended up staying there for a few nights, because the weather was fantastic and we could swim in the fjord!

A very good stay – nice and quiet

A wonderful place for us who wanted tranquility and nature experiences. The campsite is beautifully located by the fjord, quiet, peaceful and well-maintained. The friendly owner family welcomed us with warmth and made the stay extra pleasant. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful

The place is fantastically located. We only stayed one night and couldn't use everything. The owners are totally nice and always helpful. You can swim, rent boats, fish or even just enjoy the panorama. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. Nicely we even came to our fish without fishing.

Gorgeous place to stay

The camping site is located next to the fjord. The scenic view was fantastic. I enjoyed the morning walk because of the mirror image of the fjord which worth million bucks. The camping site was well equipped. We also rent bicycles from camping site to explore Sauda town centre. Definitely will revisit this lovely camping site in the future.
